Just wanted to add, I didn't put in the 3tsp the recipe shows, but what I saw you put in the video (more like 3 heaping table-spoons) I was making a little more than you did so I put in 5 heaping table-spoons :-)
I was nervous about the amount of garlic at first, but I went ahead with it -- I am glad I did, it was perfect in every way, and so easy to make! Good job Betty.
Hey Mrs. Betty, I love your vids' , YOU cook like my mother, but she had a stroke about 10 yrs. ago and is bed riden. I am from Liberty Ky, and saw your vid on the train ride in ky, and was wondering and betting my wife that you was from KY! ? She said further south, but I know different! lol
I have been grilling steak on the BBQ pit for over 3 decades. But sometimes when it is dark and 20 degrees outside, that is not so much fun. This is when it is much more fun to cook up some steak bites! As a variation to the recipe, I season with Weber's grind 'n grill Chicago steak seasoning, and then add minced garlic. Anyway, great stuff.
Me and my friend didn't have any clue how to cook steak, we went online and we found this video. It was delicous! Thanks alot, we loved it and I make it all the time because its quick, easy, and tasty!
My boyfriend will be visiting soon...and Im not a cook at all. lol We love steak. thanks for the recipe..it looks pretty simple to do. So i hopefully shouldnt have a problem. haha
@mkangel520 Thanks for your lovely feedback! I don't know about the color--it does look a little grayish, unless you cook it until all of the liquid is absorbed. Then the outside is nice and crispy and tangy!
This is my husband's favorite recipe of yours and mine too! Where can I find that pan that you are using in this video? Is it the kind that chips or cast iron?
@SugarySweetP Thanks for your great feedback! The wok skillet is 11-inches across and is teflon coated. The brand is Mirro. You may be able to find it at a department store that sells Mirro brand--or maybe at a store like Wal-mart.
OMG I just tried this recipe, sooo delicious! Seems like alot of garlic but it's totally necessary. Thanks for the recipe that I will definately make Alot!
ya know..i needed something 2 go along-side of some crab legs .. since it's only my husband & I and didn't want to make a HUGE meal for dinner, but felt the crab & potatoes needed something 'more' & this helped me alot. Thx Betty !!

It's one of our favorite dishes! You have to be willing to cook the steak to well done, in order for it to absorb all the flavor--and then it is so tangy! I hope you like it! Thanks for commenting!
I think you will *love* the steak bites. You have to cook them beyond where you think they are done to get all the liquid absorbed. Then they become really tangy and tasty with all that garlic! I hope you like them!
Thanks for the compliments! The wall behind my cooktop is melamine--so it washes off, just like a countertop! I wouldn't be making entrees like this one if I had to work to clean the wall!!!
I shop sales, mainly! Gabriel Brothers has bag sales occasionally, and they seem to have almost everything in my size! Practically free!!! Thanks for your comment--I appreciate it!
Girl where do you shop!! I love your cute outfits you wear on the videos as much as the recipes, you're very trendy.I like this recipe, i'm gonna try it out this weekend. Thanks! :)

MMMMmmm, my house smells delicious, I did not have meat tenderizer so I substituted with Morton's Limon y sal (Lime & Salt). Very nice tangy flavor.
