  • 466 were made

  • The real thing, stunning beauty. Good call on no music. Keep up the good work.

  • great video! My uncle had one back in 1965. They are very rare now and very expensive. I could'nt get the car out of my head. Maybe that's the reason why I have an AC Cobra replica parked in my garage...

  • is more fast ac cobra???

  • Now that's a RESTORATION! Wow!

Supposedly less than 500 '58's made and one is coming up for auction in January

at Gooding in Scotsdale....Bring your wallet...

  • Stunning! Nice to see a sympathetic restoration (no flared wheelarches, or american V8 shoved under the bonnet!)

  • Hi, yes the AC " Ace " is one of my favourites too. If you are interested I recently uploaded two short clips from an episode of " The Man From U.N.C.L.E. " circa 1964. The clips show a AC " Ace " 6 x cylinder " arriving " and " departing ". Apart from the 2 x girls in the car it's an opportunity to hear the wonderful engine noise ! Regards.

  • AC is a legendary car...

  • Very nice & rare car!

  • There were 463 Aces with Bristol engine made, 223 with AC engine and 37 with Ford Zephyr engine. Coincidentally the first 3 digits of the French plate on this car match the chassis number of my AC Bristol!

  • it look very british nice color and cool wheels

  • price?

  • nice car and video too.

  • It looks a lot like a Cobra. Great car!

  • Yeah! It's from the same company! :)

But the AC COBRA is way more popular...

  • @blackhole522 This was the car AC built before the Cobra. The Cobra is based off this car. Carrol Shelby's design of the SC 427 Cobra is a combination of this car and the AC Cobra. You're right it is a fantastic car, great old British speedster.

  • @blackhole522 ya the reason it looks like a cobra is because its the cobras father AC made the Ace then a racer from the states came over looked at the car and said damn! nice car beautiful! but do you mind if i take it and put a big 289 engine in it? (and later a 427) and thus the Cobra was born! another car that looka like a Cobra is a Ferrari Barchetta in short the ace is the older slower and more sensible British Cobra

  • Cool classic car! I really like it!

    Are there many AC Bristol?

  • Thanks dude! Glad you liked the video!

To be honest, I have no ideas how many models are out there... Sorry lol.

  • @lambofanlp640 They are extremely rare nowadays. I don't know the exact figures either but there can't be that many left. There were originally a total of 735 AC Ace Bristols built, of those how many remain? I doubt anyone knows. I'm sure there's a few in as good condition as this but a lot are hidden away in barns and sheds and places waiting for us to find them and bring them back to life. They are quite something. Classic British sports cars are the best out there

  • @AnAngryPossom Thanks for the info! :)

  • @lambofanlp640 Not a problem glad I could help.

  • Very nice! Pretty color!

  • Never seen this car before :-/

Its classy but not my favourite typ of car...i like it new and modern :D But nice video :-)
