i remember hearing another song, also called 'too marvelous (or wonderful) for words'; except it's a different song, with a male and female vocalist alternating lines like: "...thoughtful and elegant, something and something... (words like these". i thought i'd heard ella doing it with sinatra or joe williams or somebody. anybody know the song? it's really nice.
sounds pretty nice, although I guess it could have a little more flavour to it. In Nat's songs you can notice each instrument as sortof having it's own life... You can try doing the same... Not everyone might like it, but it will be more intouch with the way his songs go.
This is catchy. Thx for the post.

Sweet! Playing along with the great Nat King Cole... Nice work.
By the way, do you know what year he recorded this? I've heard another version, but it's slower.

When listening to this at work, I had noticed the lack of drums. The perfect accompany to a great recording of this song. Thanks.

Great job. There is something every jazz drummer can learn from this:
1. Play time.
2. Be tasteful and complimentary. If you need to be an acrobat then go join the circus.
Once again, nice job.

@paynow haha thanks, acrobats definitely belong in the circus!
