  • Sweet! Playing along with the great Nat King Cole... Nice work.

By the way, do you know what year he recorded this? I've heard another version, but it's slower.

  • When listening to this at work, I had noticed the lack of drums. The perfect accompany to a great recording of this song. Thanks.

  • @ibDJmobilemedia Thank you very much!

  • sounds great man, congrats.

  • Wow, the drums sound great!

  • @dawnhewitt1 Thanks!

  • Great job. There is something every jazz drummer can learn from this:

    1. Play time.

    2. Be tasteful and complimentary. If you need to be an acrobat then go join the circus.

    Once again, nice job.

  • @paynow haha thanks, acrobats definitely belong in the circus!

  • can someone help me out?

i remember hearing another song, also called 'too marvelous (or wonderful) for words'; except it's a different song, with a male and female vocalist alternating lines like: "...thoughtful and elegant, something and something... (words like these". i thought i'd heard ella doing it with sinatra or joe williams or somebody. anybody know the song? it's really nice.

  • @onamemmet 'I know it "S WONDERFUL" "It's wonderful, its marvelous you should care for me. It's awful nice its paradise..............

  • you added the durms? they sound like part of the record! very tasteful. nice.

  • LOVE IT.. :)

  • Nice, oh, yes. Pleasant for ears. Thanks.

  • The drums actually add quite a bit to the texture of the song. Well done.

  • sweet. Love having a song pop in my head and finding the perfect rendition. Thanks.

  • No worries. Thanks for the comment.

  • thought the nkc trio needs no drums - but this cool.

    very good

  • Thanks alot. it was just an idea to see what it sounded like.

    Thanks

    Xavier

  • Good volume balance...nice idea...:)

    and it swings!

  • Thanks very much!

  • Wow! this is so cool man! Great drummin' Nat should probably hired you!! haha. Love it!

  • lol thanks very much!

    Xavier

  • sounds pretty nice, although I guess it could have a little more flavour to it. In Nat's songs you can notice each instrument as sortof having it's own life... You can try doing the same... Not everyone might like it, but it will be more intouch with the way his songs go.
