You should be ashamed of yourself! "God, give me a greater revelation; your scriptures are not good enough!" 2 Peter 1:16-21 tells us of Peters "eyewitness" account of Christ majesty. He then tells us there is something "more sure" than being an "eyewitness;" PROPHECY; that is, the written word! Gods word is "more sure" than our own eyes.

Repent of this non sense and remove these videos before embarrassing yourself further. If Gods word in not sufficient for you; then find another religion.

The best proof of the existence of God is in the Bible. Hundreds of fulfilled prophecies & more being fulfilled before our very eyes. Only those who are wllingly ignorant can't see the proof. They have itching ears & only hear what they want to hear.

I think that a correct reading of the new testament would show that the idea of an eternal hell is NOT found in scripture BUT traditon and dogma as a rule trumps the original greeks so we have the "hell" stories of the middle ages. It is OK though I guess....but I still think it is not according to scripture or reason. peace!

@1macboo It is truly contradictive of scripture. Think about it. God goes through over 1000 years of Abrahams line through means of prophets, patriarchs and the nations of Israel to reveal a savior of all. His purpose is to save all humanity, and is a God of Love. However the popular creed states that many souls are doomed to suffer eternity while the small number of elect are in heaven. Plus, the alternative is that people choose hell. No one would choose that, absolutely no one.

Hell is not a place, it is an event. Hell is not eternal, it has a definite beginning and end. God is not so cruel as to cause eternal suffering....I dare you to ask me to prove it.

You ask a great deal from your God, are you not supposed to take it all on faith? If God would reveal all on your asking, essentially on a whim, where does faith step in?

Thanks Vurr, for posting. Here's some INSIGHT into spiritual matters that readers may not be aware of. The PRIMARY REASON God has decreed that we must operate in FAITH is because in so doing -- it TESTS us. Afterall, we ALL have faith of some kind. We either have faith that what God says in the New Testament Bible is TRUSTWORTHY, or it isn't. Out of the masses, a few believe it to be TRUSTWORTHY. It clearly states in the New Testament they will be greatly rewarded for trusting it.

The masses demand PROOF as to whether the New Testament can be trusted or not. God KNEW they would before He created the human race! But God is looking for people He can TRUST. Not people who demand PROOF. For those God can truly TRUST, it is declared in Holy Scripture that God is going to entrust to them things through eternity that no mere human could possibily comprehend right now. No one can PROVE this isn't going to be so. They can believe it's a lie, but they can't PROVE it.

We all operate in FAITH to one degree or another. The masses of humanity do NOT believe the New Testament bible to be trustworthy. A few do. It is stated therein that God died in our place on the cross -- taking full punishement for our sins. The masses can refuse to believe that Truth, but they can't PROVE it isn't Truth and FACT. If it turns out to be FACT on the Judgment Day, they are going to be in an eternity of hurt. If it turns out to be a LIE, what have Christians lost? NOTHING!

If God were proven, everybody would be a believer, so there would be no credit in it.

This world is a testing ground for souls, to find out who is truly good and who prefers their own evil way. Being truly good would also be easy if evil did not ruie this world.

Because Adam failed when it WAS easy to be good , and thus we inherited a fallen nature, we have to prove ourselves to be good when it is NOT easy and find salvation from that nature (i.e. "the sin that dieth not"). End of sermon!

@crisgai1 I am simply repeating Krsna's teachings. Hell is here, into the material world. It is a prison house for your soul, because we have misused our independence. I am not presenting God whimsically, I am presenting a God who is recognized. It is all described in the Baghavad Gita, and in the Srimad Bhagavatam. I find no contradiction beteween Jesus's teaching and Prabhupada's.

@NormRasmussen2 THis is my favorite argument for the faith and is one used by environmentalists often....if we're right..you LOSE BIG...if we're wrong we don't lose anything at all. It makes the decision very easy if people could consider it seriously.

@cplusplusish....Yes...the bible says your body will go to hell or to haeven depending on what you decide about Jesus Christ. He is the creator of all things and the Son of God who gave His life on a cross in exchange for your life .If you believe that and have realtionship with Him as you have with your friend....you will not go to hell after you die.....you will go live with Him in his house..that is heaven. Simple message but make no mistake VERY difficult to live out as only a few make it.
