i actually prefer the dolph lundgren punisher. the movie had flaws because the studio went backrupped so half the script and scenes were cut (like the start before his family are murdered) and the film never was released in the USA and went straight to video. but the 1989 punisherh ad the best action scenes by far and dolph (believe it or not) was a really good actor in this and gave a really powerful peformance lol am not joking

Ok before i seen this movie i was a bit um why is thomas jane not here...But now when i watch this one i think straight from the comic book here comes castle Ray plays this part amazing. You know why? Because he looks like him and he manages to pull off the gritty attitude.

tom jane and the director and writer had an amazing sequel planned and writen. but the studio wanted all this shit in it but they refused so got in a new writer to change the script about and fired the director and tom jane was unhappy with the script so backed out. Ray did a perfect job doing the punisher but he as an actor should have backed out because this film is pish.

BTW The Punisher IS Italian! His name was changed from Francis Castiglione to Frank Castle when he was really young.
