  • my favriote level is Upper Shaft. Goos used:Common,Ivy,Time Bugs,Fuse and BombShaft.

  • Looks like thats the icing on the cake.

World of Goo and OverGrowth are my favorite indy games.

  • Wow! This looks like a really cool game!

  • @virgildog1950 its amazing!

  • I think another reason for the blurry visuals is that due to the hurried gameplay and constantly-moving goo, they wanted to keep the player's focus on the goo, and not get too distracted by scenery.

  • Awsome design tour, I hope you dont mind me adding this video in my blog.

    gamedesignblog . org

  • Yeah, I bet you could have a field day analyzing this game. :P

  • "you have to explode the head" was an obvious reference to "You have to burn the rope"

  • the best worldofgoo video ever

  • I hope you continue to do some more of these, they're entertaining and informative.

  • you need to have more enthusiasm in these videos. other than that, nice analysis of world of goo :)

  • fantastic, great job, both the game and the guide, very inspiring, thanks :)

  • Fantastic video, David. You should deconstruct more games like this. ^^

  • Thanks for this video. I learned stuff.

  • amazing!!

  • Nice game( I am at lvl 5)

    NICE VIDEO! gj david!

  • Wow, David; still as sharp if not sharper than ever.

  • You've got a knack for finding nuances (ones that I would never notice), which most certainly will translate into quality game creation.

Best of luck in your indie projects. I'll be following your progress.

  • Very keen eye. Thanks for pointing those out. I am sure there are many aspiring game designers that will benefit from this.

  • this is great! such an innovative game.
