I've always wondered what must have been going through the minds of his bandmates around this time. They had to know something was seriously wrong. I don't know if I could have gone through the making of "Innuendo," even if Freddie wanted to carry on.
@cubdukat they did know what was going on and that something was seriously wrong because he told them all.......but Freddie made them promise not to tell anyone else. Then, at the end he made the public statement to redeem his friends because they had lied for him about his situation. As for making "innuendo" they knew it was what Freddie wanted, what he lived for, so they did it for him no matter how hard it must have been. They were true friends.

Man, it's almost 20 years ago Freddie passed away. I remember the news.
Very sad to think how ill he was for such a long time. Hard to imagine he was able to make this video feeling the way he did.
Brian may said Freddie would take a drink of vodka and say 'ok, let's get going'...
You can see if you look closely that the 3 other band members had a sick sense of this being their last song together.
It makes us all want to 'man up', and stop feeling sorry for ourselves.

He and the band members knew at this time he was dying..so I think this is Freddie's way of saying so long. it's been a hell of a ride thanks to all my fans for standing by me.I look and I find I still love You!!! ... he say's so in the song!! I make such a bias because gay is, by definition, a perversion to the natural order of mankind. Where as promiscuous heterosexual sex is not against that natural order but is against the order of a civilized society. As is, drug abuse, and blood sucking (that was more of a joke, but some people do insist of doing that too). What I'm saying is any behavior that involves transferring body fluids in an irresponsible way, leaves the door open to this disease. So blame the behaviors.

"Natural" to the success of our species. I thought this logic would have already been accepted by everyone. Guess not.
