  • Some mother fucker keyed my car in the school parking lot, i think this will get the first set out, but i might need to see a body shop for the second. I wish i knew who did that, i have a nice baton in the back that has their name on it.

  • 0:00 - Hi, my name is Dildo!

  • hey man! great job!! i love how you've covered most of the aspects of car detailing! i was wondering how much time i should spend in washing/waxing a car? thanks!!

oh and forget the haters man. you're making money because you KNOW how to detail, while haters only envy your skills. haha. they should appreciate what you're doing, not degrade you for helping out.

  • [iminent=DpbSF8YVffOB]

  • whats the difference than a polish and a compound

  • @edgarsanchez1904 im pretty sure it is that compunds have abrasives and polishes dont

  • Real good of you to give this tutorial on buffing - thanks

  • Like it ,nice job!!!!!!!!

  • thx for your gr8 tips and educational video....

  • I have the same model of buffer but have been somewhat reluctant to use it. It came with a selection of foam pads and a cotton bonnet but I am unsure which item to use for specific purposes. I have some surface scuffing around the bootlid from loading my wheelchair and recently someone, probably on a bicycle, put quite an ugly scuff/scratch on my offside door/fender. I have been told that 80% of what I see will buff out, but need a deeper understanding of pads and polishes before I try anything

  • @Punnarniman use a wool pad with rubbing compound to "cut" the scratches and scuffs out of the paint then use a foam pad with polish/finishing glaze or swirl remover to take out the swirl marks from cutting with the compound and wool pad.

  • wtf with racial comments :| that's a great video, thanks.

  • does this apply to all plastic interiors?

  • LOOK AT HIM!!! HE GOT SCARED WHEN HE SWITCHED THAT BUFFER TO 1400 RPM , I BET HE HAS NEVER BUFFED A SHIRT BUTTON IN HIS LIFE.

  • @TheDaredevil1968 where da fuck you see him gettin scared dumb fuck?? shyt... ur ass better get off from da pillz cuz ur startin to trip

  • @TheDaredevil1968 are you fucking retarded? what are u on? he didn't do anything to show that he was scared

  • 0:36 !!! YOUR LEVEL!!!??? YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT U R TALKING ABOUT.. SUN SHINE???? SHADE:??? I LIKE TO HAVE WHAT U R HAVING..

  • @jeryleigh im white and i do like the video, because in my car was also a key scratch and i did get it out with the tips of diesel, great man :)

  • i like the video.

  • i have a question for all you car enthusiasts out there, do you purchase any of your car detailing products online? i'm a marketing student working on an automotive brief and for research reasons i am trying to find out what your online activity is like. the more responses the better!! so please don't hesitate to provide feedback, cheers!

  • It would be great to know where I could buy the pad/compounds from. All I can get is consumer stuff from pep boys.

  • Thanks for sharing! Might want to info people to stay away from the edges because the paint is thin.

  • Just wondering... Why not polish the car in the sunlight?

  • @MagusFyre There are a few reasons, but because it drys the compound or polish. As well you can't see it nearly as well and so you might still think theres more compound or polish on the car and keep the buffer on it risking to burn the paint.

  • thanks for the great demo!

  • HI DE NICE WORK U DOIN I TRY TO DO LIKE U BUT I SCREW MY PINT

SO PLZ HELP ME WHAT I HAVE TO DO

THE SOFT SCRATCHES ALL OVER THE CAR

IT SHOW UP WILL IN THE NIGHT

  • What if u can't afford a fancy drill or something like that u used:( I don't know the rpms on my friendsdrill

  • my orbital polisher comes with 1 applicator bonnet and 1 polishing bonnet, so for example if I want to polish, do I put the polishing bonnet and polish or do I have to use the application bonnet to apply the polish product and THEN polish. If you can help me, I thank you so much!

  • Lets talk about Gettin Gotten Out product!

  • his name is diesel and he works with cars, why didnt one cars wat him up yet??

  • can u do it with hand? like a towel?

  • @TheGarvito

Some scratch removal can be done by hand however it is significantly more work and not as effective. I would recommend getting a random orbital polisher, such as the porter cable 7424. It's what I use and ti works very well with the right pads/polishes.

  • thx neighborhood cats scratch up my jet black altima at night, how many buffs can a car take though?

  • Thanks from France!

  • @Hurley3TB kids do them all the time, have you got the scratch fix yet?

  • all your videos are easy to understand and right to the point good work

  • It wold have been nice if the camera had focused in on the scratch.... great job though...come back with more vids...

  • was there a scratch on that car or what

  • Great work bud, you seem to have a handle on detailing vehicles. keep up the good work Diesel

  • learn from the tutorial, or download the video, thanks the contributor for his/her unselfish sharing of his expertise..this is how we learn..criticism does improve us to make our product better..but degrading one by his look or race..has no place.

  • check out m22wright channel for the very best in videos found anywhere in the world on deep scratch removal

  • I've watched all your video and just have some quick questions. 1) do you use the same polisher for polishing an for waxing? 2) I saw in your "how to polish" video you seem to be using a different type of pad (not the fluffy one in this video); what are the difference in them? Thanks so much, your videos are very helpful.

  • @12eb3L The fluffy one is actually wool and is made for cutting the top layer of the clear coat, the one he used for polishing is a foam pad and is obviously softer.

  • Did everyone check out m22wrights page, this dude is awsome and his videos on deep scratch repair put EVERYONE to shame. Check him out, hes the best at this

  • @m22wright

don't post about yourself, on other people's pages.

  • cheers mate saved me a couple hundered pounds

  • Thanks Diesel!! Great video for amateurs doing small jobs. I'll leave the large detail jobs to professionals like you!!

  • what does racism have to do with polishing a few scrathes out lol

  • Wow, that's just amazing that this guy takes the time out of his busy schedule to make a video to HELP people and it turns into a racial issue. Anyway, great video Diesel I'm sure there's a lot of people out there that can learn from it!

  • do you buff before u wax a car

  • @joedhunt1 yes you use a rubbing compound then a polish then a was to protect.

  • Nice job man, video was very helpful!

  • @ProjectILT is it down to the bare metal? if not, it is possible it can be sanded, coumpounded polished and waxed by a professional only. if its to the metal, that area needs repainted. hope this helps!

  • Learn a thing or two! It's about cars and love for them. Not RACE!

    Grow up!

  • Dude, ignore those idiots. We should be thankful, since most professionals wouldn't share their knowledge, and not offensive. But unfortunately, there are people who wouldn't understand sincity1111s point. But they're missing the intelligence, so they're often having a hard time about it too

  • @eggplantface 4g63 you never get in front of me

  • It's a proven fact that 100 percent of racists were molested as children.

  • You can't be gittin that scratch out and shit.

  • Holy shit dude, BADASS car

  • This guys the best

  • thanks for sharing, just what i was looking for.

btw, screw the racists. if you were white, brown, or green and saying the same thing in the video it wouldn't make it anymore right or wrong.

  • Thanks for the knowledge Diesel. I only wish you would have gone into more detail on what kind of "compound" you used and where we can get that particular one that you used. Also what kind of buffing pad? Are there different kinds? Nice ride in the begining of the vid too.

  • Good job. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

  • I can't see the scratch your demoing on.

  • I love how well you explain and also the tone of your voice

  • Yeah leave it to the Pro's Nice Job!!

  • Yeah leave it to the Pro's Nice Job

  • Appreciate the videos! really helped me out today.

  • Thanks for video. I have a car and someone really deep scratched it all around with a key I guess. I bought OEM touch up paint in a pen. How about if I would fill in the scratch with that pen, and then do the polishing compound? Shouldn't that do the trick? Also what Dewalt polisher is that? Thanks.

  • why dont you buff in the sunlight?

  • this guy is GREAT.i like his style because he has knowledge and he freely share his wisdom through his videos-lessons to all of us.he knows the power of knowledge.he share his wisdom with all of us and that makes him great man not like others stupid ''wise specialists''......

  • @THOMAS14111983 u r goooooood man thomas

  • cool car

  • Black, white, or brown..We are ALL humans!

  • @sincity1111 LIES!

  • @sincity1111 Well said, whatever colour we are on the outside, we all bleed red.

  • @sincity1111 how about red and yellow?

  • @sincity1111 I'm not.

  • would i use a compound, or a polish for fine cob-web swirl marks that are all over my car?

    thanks

  • @lobzdik Depends what Brand Compound your using.. MySelf uses 3m Products.. I would Use the Stage 1 Rubbing Compound With White Flat Waffled pad Followed By Stage 2 Glaze With Soft black Waffled pad.To get fill the fine scratches the buff leaves behind.. Depending if your car is Dark Colour Car I would Follow up with the Stage 3 ultrafina Swirl Remover.. As in the Video His Holding the Stage 1 Rubbing Compound.. Purple Bottle is stage 2 and Blue Ultrafina Stage 3

  • so what if he is black? Don't be racist

the dude knows what he is doing

  • for scratches down to the metal u can use primer touch up, squeegee it smooth, sand it lightly, then do the same with colored touch up and sand it smooth, then simply buff it out....works like a charm

  • merci pour le vidéo

  • youtube users comment are always entertaining to read

  • @MrBigOlGreenThumb .. Thank you everyone who stuck up for me. I am just trying to share some of my knowledge of detailing and suddenly faced with racism. I guess it truly still lives and the only way to beat it is to ignore it. Thank you everyone.

  • @dieselmadkins the videos are very helpful. good luck on your business in hotlanta :)

  • @dieselmadkins you rock mate, dont even bother with those lowlifers racists out there, they dont know even half of the staff you do!

  • dude not cool.first off the n bomb is way over used and second off wtf did this guy ever do to you?

  • i like this guy

  • Says the guy lighting tennis ball on fire in his room at 1 in the morning.

  • omg he's hot

  • I only trust MADE IN JAPAN or MADE IN GERMANY brand for engineer and design as they NEVER failed me.

  • @urkingod

obviously, you have no knowledge of recalls the Germans and the Japanese have faced. Americans have enough engineering if not more, we just suppress it for profit. GM had the electric car in 1998, the oil company/government killed it.

  • DeWalt DW849 for the win !!! But buffer out there !!!
