Very very good video! It was a huge fire and the firefighters worked very hard! My uncle is a firefighter for Wood River fire and rescue. The firefighters that worked to contain this did a good job. Firefighters dont get the credit that they should so way to go and good job to Wood River Fire and rescue and all the volunteers we really appreciate all the hard work!!
Thanks to all of you who have commented on this video. Whiskeys definitely holds a ton of memories for all of us. I remember going there in my early years eating pizza and playing Air hockey... all the way to premiering films for Mountain Adventure tours, to meeting up with friends to watch a game or have a drink... not to mention the numerous people I have met there over the years. Karaoke will be missed. Its crazy its gone. Thank you all for viewing and commenting.
This is really well done and a great video story of a place I spent a lot of time drinking and dancing during the time I lived there. You really captured the essence of this event.
Great film and a tragic loss. My son, Trey, lives in Ketchum and on my first visit I ended up at Whiskey's. I won't forget that night and hope that anyone that has had a night there will always remember what a special place it was and the special place that you all call home.
Thank you for taking a look and commenting. I too have been here since the 80's and it is still hard for me to imagine main street any different than I have see it all these years. I too am positive that beautiful things will come of it.
Thank you Mark for a very touching documentary. I came here to visit in 1973 and moved here in 1980. I am so sad about the end of this era. So many great memories on this block. I remembered a great deal today and this is what I took away. It is the very special PEOPLE of the Wood River Valley that make this place so magical and I am positive beautiful things will come from this. Thank you Once Again to our police, firemen and emergency service people. You are greatly appreciated.

Gosh this is one sad paragraph guy. You act like your mom died. It's a bar... a DIVE BAR, and a shitty one at that. LET IT BUUUURRRRN!
make way for the new, and encourage/welcome all the NEW memories you will experience.
Now, if the CASINO burned down, then we all have something to cry about. THAT dive has REAL history.
