  • Where is your Krav studio?

  • Demon Hunter is an amazing band! We need more bands like them out and about now-a-days.

  • What are you implying? That Metallica is bad? 

  • And I'm a big For Today band ..

  • That was quite a cheap swipe at For Today!! You don't seem to know much about them if you are putting signs up about abortion etc with them in the background. What kind of mischaracterisation is that? Lucky for you, one of them even commented on your video! Two thumbs up to Dave the hairy chested drummer!!! (I got a picture on my phone with my mate and you all naked from the waist up, hawwt I know ;) ..)

  • I have liked and supported DEMON HUNTER since their inception and am proud to do so. I was listening the the Clark Bros. in their Pre - D.H. band TRAINING FOR UTOPIA and I think DEMON HUNTER is just an awesome band be they Christian or otherwise ( though I'm glad they ARE Christian and openly proclaim that fact! )..

  • Lyrics: huuurf duuuurf. I feel like i just listened to a dramatic reading of a 15 year old's livejournal entry on his favorite band. "they're heavy and make me feel angry and pumped. durp"

  • STRYPER and BARREN CROSS.

  • Was this just a passive aggressive swipe at For Today? Sad display.

  • I'd rather have my son watch South Park than listen to this.

  • As a member of the band For Today - this video is offensive that you would suggest we are pro abortion. For the record, we are 100% AGAINST abortion, & always will be. Absolutely EVERYTHING we do is for the Kingdom. We are honored that God has used us to lead thousands and thousands of people to the Lord through our ministry.

Also, for the record, we never received any requests to put our music in your film. Maybe you wrote the wrong publicist?

God bless you and your ministry-David (For Today)

  • Rodney T. here, the social media guy for IP. In the video, Molotov never says or suggests that your band is pro-abortion. Also, I asked Molotov about your not receiving any licensing requests after you posted, and he forwarded us an email from a Shannon Quiggle for Facedown Records. In it, she says that she discussed IP's request for your music and that you chose to pass. I know very little about For Today, but if you're pro-life, you should enjoy "Gates of Hell"; it comes out next month!

  • He did suggest they were pro abortion by saying they refused his movie. I'd say For Today's lyrics are more Christian than DH, they have some dark lyrics that are kinda questionable and For Today leaves no question about it. He must not have listened to more than one song- "Devastator"( talking about putting the smack down on Satan but i guess its not as explicitly Christian as "Agape" or "Joel The Watchman" "Psalm of the Son" or any number of other songs)

  • dudes in FOR TODAY are legit, and are not "just all talk". Maybe they just didn't want their music used w/YOUR company? I love DH & FT. i know the dudes in FT well, and know the dudes in DH just from booking them @shows. all are rad warriors for the Gospel. For Today chooses to use music & relationships, to INFLUENCE people to give their hearts & lives to the Power of the Gospel, rather than using talking points from political campaigns as slogans to sell records.

just throwing in my two cents.

  • @DubCha25 Yeeeeah, I'm gonna go ahead and say if little old ladies are crossing the street to avoid you because you look like the spawn of Satan, you're probably doing it wrong.

  • @hiitsmescott -- wow. you don't know me. and you don't know what a spawn of Satan looks like, nor what i look like, nor who i am, nor what i do.

DEAR EVERYONE, WELCOME TO THE INTERWEBS, WHERE PEOPLE SWIPE AT AT EACH OTHER, HIDING THEIR CHEAP ATTACKS AND TEMPER TANTRUMS BEHIND ANONYMITY AND ISP'S! BEWARE!

    DON'T FEED THE TROLLS!

  • @DubCha25 I wasn't talking about YOU looking like the spawn of Satan. I was talking about the members of both those bands. The Bible clearly states that we Christians are of the light, yet these guys can't seem to get dark enough to suit themselves.

Also, you're whining about anonymity to a guy who's name is in his user ID. Is your name Dub? Are you Mr. Cha?

  • @hiitsmescott my profile here is open. Dub is short for "dubya" or W -- my first initial. Cha is the first 3 letters of my last name.

the Bible says nothing about wearing black clothes, or that we should all wear 3-piece suits, or that we need to all be clean shaven and socially acceptable in appearance, but we are to flee from wearing pagan religious symbols, from sexual immodesty and immorality, and to live out holiness, regardless of how we dress. Galatians/Ephesians 4, 5, &6

  • @DubCha25 Man I don't even know how to have a conversation with someone that claims to be a Christian and thinks anything that sounds like those bands is even remotely Christian. Hey, I guess it's easier to pretend all that is ok for a Christian than it is to stand out and be an outcast.

I'd love to keep casting pearls here, but I've got a business to run.

    Best wishes.

  • Ohgod, Christian bands.

Bands with a strange religious agenda don't tend to make very good sounding music.

  • @nanoday1 Exodus 20:7

You should check out some Casting Crowns. Especially check out the lead singer Mark Hall's testimony. Amazing.

  • I'm a Christian, I don't like most Christian music, sorry. I don't like music that doesn't have a good beat.

What's wrong with Metallica? I don't even KNOW their religion. I'll have them over shitty untalented stuff any day.

  • @MyTotalRemedy Cussing and claiming to be a Christian in the same post, can't beat that.

  • @hiitsmescott

There's a lot of Christians that use profanity. You're telling me you've never did? You call another person here a whiner. Is it Christian behavior to be snide?

  • @MyTotalRemedy Please see answer above concerning profanity.

I didn't call him a whiner, I said he was whining. He was.

I thought I had already turned off email updates for this page, but apparently I failed. I'm going to try again. I really am too busy to discuss Christianity with the anything goes crowd. If anything goes than why be a Christian? Christian means follower of Christ. Christ wouldn't rebuke cussing the the Bible if He wanted His followers to do it. Best Wishes.

  • @hiitsmescott

    You've seriously never cussed?

  • @MyTotalRemedy Oh I absolutely did. I cussed like a sailor and told jokes that would've made a sailor shutter. That was before I found Christ. He changes people. That's how Christ was able to save even more people by my conversion. People that knew how I was saw how I am now and said "hey there is something different, I want that".

Our mouths should be saved when we are.

    Ephesians 5:4, Psalm 19:14, Romans 3:14, Luck 6:45, James 3:6, Matt 12:24 etc...

    Believe the Bible or not?

  • demon hunter sux. sorry molotov, but you have crap for taste in music.

  • I don't care for this. . . August Burns Red, Cannibal Corpse, and Behemoth seem to be my cup of tea good sir.

  • How about a Norma Jean day? Though love Demon Hunter and thanks for giving them props.

  • Demon Hunter sucks ass, dude. Listen to some real metal. There are christian metal bands that are MUCH better than them. Try Impending Doom, Extol, As I Lay Dying...

  • @NattligMelodi Why bother listening to Christian music at all if you are going around cussing?

Christians are supposed to be lights in darkness. We are supposed to stand out and be noticed. We are supposed to be different.

  • @hiitsmescott Ass? Really? Why bother being a Christian if you're going to judge?

  • @NattligMelodi Yes really. The Bible DOES NOT say you can't call sin sin. There are even directions for helping fellow Christians out of sin. The "don't judge" non-sense has really been push far, far beyond it's original meaning.

  • Life War is one of my favorite songs by them!

  • does a decent job at describing demon hunter but if you want there real to the soul music listen to demon hunter's 1000 apologies or the tide began to rise demon hunter is a great Christian metal/hard core band

  • Just listened to For Today as I had never heard of them either. They are also satanic. Christians shouldn't look like scary freaks coming down the street. Listen to Casting Crowns, better yet, first listen to the lead singer Mark Hall's testimony. You can find it online.

"Driving Nails into my soul" Why? Christ received the nails to set our souls free. I think Demon Hunter missed the point.

  • @hiitsmescott I think you're just biased because you've been brainwashed by mainstream Christianity to think that all Christians have to look, dress, and act a certain way.

  • @NattligMelodi Everything I said was in the Bible. The Bible clearly defines what we are and aren't supposed to be. You disagreeing with me doesn't make me wrong. I don't know how anyone could listen to music like that and claim to know anything about Christ. That kind of hate and darkness are exactly the kind of things Christ removed from me.

The Bible is clear that knowing Christ and peace coincide. What is it about that music that would feed the peace in a Christians heart?

  • @hiitsmescott Right on, about the Nails In My Soul song! I know it sounds very demonic and depressing, and no discernable message of soul. I don't know what he was thinking picking that one as the comparison to secular bands. I know someone who was kept in a dark, depressing place while listening to that song. I had to give him some real Christian music to help him refocus on Christ and feel His peace instead.

  • Nothing Christian about that band. My Bible says we should be called out a be a separate people. We are supposed to be the light of the world, there is no light in that garbage. Everything with Christian slapped on it isn't necessarily Christian. This is coming from someone that has thumbed up every other For the Record video I've seen.

  • What's with modern christians? Why do they think they're the only ones that invented music about christian ideas? Mozart's great Mass in C Minor or anything by Bach has more depth, intellect, and power than this stuff could ever have. And, this is coming from someone who isn't religious.

  • @n0t0mega Getting tired of responding to your obscene comments (it has officially gotten old), since you refuse to accept the possibility of anything out there existing except a godless 'scientific' reality. One way or another, you will soon learn otherwise. I only hope that the knowledge comes to you BEFORE you die. Will pray for you. But am ignoring any other responses from here on. Have a good night.

  • @CAUGHTUPALIVE1

The Necronomicon does not exist, lovecraft made it up as a plot device, that you actually believe it exists is proof of your total and utter idiocy.

  • To call this "Christian" and "music" is very debatable....

  • Comment removed

  • Wow, normally, I like your stuff, but this kind of toasts my buns.

I'll be straight up... I don't like music that's too hard very much (in fact, am very anti-"screamo"), although I do like *some* hard rock for parkour music... but I never liked Demon Hunter very much anyway... they seem weak in their lyrics, and I got the impression they weren't Christian, they were catholic. And the snippets you showed are no bragging point over metallica...

  • @DiJohnny18 In For Today, on the other hand, I've seen much stronger messages (again, I speak from limited experience, so you can correct me if I'm wrong), and their song Talmidim (The Servants) is very boss! I would endorse For Today and Disciple way before endorsing Demon Hunter.

  • @DiJohnny18

    >anti screamo

you's probably never listened to real screamo in your life, please go look up Orchid, and try to tell me it's the same as mallcore post hardcore.

  • @n0t0mega In English, please? :P

No thank you. I am against the whole trying to sound like a dying wombat in a shower music. I can see nothing edifying about that. I support music that has a positive message--and you kind of have to hear the message for that, lol. ;P

Now, I have nothing against epic guitars and drums. That's good to keep the energy pumping when working out, running, or trying to practice parkour. But Give It All by Rise Against is about as hard as I'll go. O:)

  • @n0t0mega Plus, in order to have guilt, you need a moral compass: that suggests that whatever action you are taking IS WRONG. Otherwise, the average human being lives to satisfy themselves with no bearing of the reprocussions that their actions have on others. Only when forced to stop and critically think by an external moral standard (such as law), do they experience guilt; and decide to change their course of action.

And please, keep insulting me: makes me want to continue this discussion! :)

  • @CAUGHTUPALIVE1

I feel guilt when I harms someone, and I am no religious in the slightest.

    Please just stop trying

  • @n0t0mega But I'll bet you feel no guilt what soever in calling me every name in the book, and insulting my intelligence repeatedly. Isn't that considered 'emotional and verbal abuse'? Not that I personally care, I have heard worse. But surely you have an external moral standard which helps you determine 'right' from 'wrong'? Relying on emotions (i.e.guilt) is not a consistent means for determining this; as human beings often make excuses for themselves to justify behaviors.

  • Yeah man demon hunter is so heavy. Even though acoustic doom artist chelsea wolfe is a million times heavier then them, and her lyrics are 1000 times more thought provoking.

  • @n0t0mega You are attributing any change in any organism as 'evolution'. Learning how to fight off a disease is a 'response' based on environment. In other words, you are saying that if I go out in the sun, and get burned, and then my body repairs the damage and produces melanin to protect my skin for future exposure, then I just 'evolved'. Or are the bodies of human and animal alike pre-programmed to respond in a manner that is key for survival?

Oh wait, that would denote intelligent design.

  • @CAUGHTUPALIVE1

You are literally a total idiot, if you can't figure out the answer to those questions you aren't worth my time.

  • @n0t0mega Sorry, that is not a valid response.

At least for someone who has graduated from kindergarten.

    Please try again. ;-)

  • @CAUGHTUPALIVE1

Someone who has graduated kindergarten doesn't believe in fairy tales.

  • @n0t0mega And yet you're still unwilling (unable?) to answer my questions?

    Atheism is a fairy tale, in which we all came from a big bang;

And a single celled organism suddenly self-replicated ad-infinitum, grew up into a million different life forms, and eventually became man. And because we came from animals, microbes, etc; we're unable to control our behaviors/habits/addictions/preferences as we're all spinning out of control with no destination. So tell me: where did GUILT come from?

  • @CAUGHTUPALIVE1

    >that's not even how the big bang theory works

it's matter expanding, which is still happening and is proposed to eventually cause heat death the end of the universe..

    also

    >correlating and the big bang

not the same event asshole, the big bang has nothing to do with evolution

    >where does guilt come from

From a survival instinct not to do harm to your own species, please just stop trying.

  • @n0t0mega And yet most Atheists quote both 'Big Bang' as the starting point of matter and the universe, and evolution as the starting and continuation for life (usually in the same breath.)

Guilt comes from a survival instinct not to do harm to your own species?? That's laughable. Most human beings are only concerned with their own survival. Even the bond between families has deteriorated past this point.

  • @CAUGHTUPALIVE1

"And yet most Atheists quote both 'Big Bang' as the starting point "

I've never met a serious atheist that thought like this, I think you're fabricating this completely, or going by what you hear from other Christians.

  • @n0t0mega No, I am basing this from my own experiences dealing with self-proclaimed 'scientists' and 'Atheists' who I have dealt with face to face, and who also like to post (often snide and insulting) remarks to my comments (or on my videos) on YouTube. No offense meant.

  • @CAUGHTUPALIVE1

No i highly doubt it, no one that's scientifically educated get's behind the big bang theory 100%, but they sure as fuck don't get behind creationism.

Even then the big bang theory makes more sense then some god coming out of nowhere and creating everything, matter expanded until the universe formed, and matter will keep expanding until it's end.

As for where it came from, well just because we don't absolutely know where it came from does not prove god.

  • @n0t0mega Which means either way, you are stuck between a rock and a hard place.

But that is your choice. BTW, don't know too many Atheists who cry out for 'the Big Bang' to save them on their deathbeds. :-(

  • @CAUGHTUPALIVE1

I could just as easily say the Elder Things from Lovecraft's stories created the Earth, and all we see on it, and that statement is just as credible as creationism.

    Not very credible at all.

  • @n0t0 HP Lovecraft bases his stories on the NECRONOMICON. I have read testimonies of former witches who have messed around with that stuff (not the abridged versions available in bookstores, but the ACTUAL Necronomicon that you have to buy under-the-counter from 'special sellers' who are into some pretty dark magick), and they claim that these 'Elder Things' are NOT fiction. And very blatantly warn anyone else from toying with this book.

And you will now tell me this is also bull****.

  • @CAUGHTUPALIVE1

Holy shit, you know the necronnomicon isn't real right? he made it up as a device in his stories.

Other people made up lore based on it from then on, you really are a fucking idiot. There is no such fucking thing as the necronomicon, and those former witches either don't exist, or are really stupid people.

  • @n0t0mega The Necronomicon is a book of demonic rituals, first published several centuries ago (long before Lovecraft), and then re-published in recent years. (long after Lovecraft) The 'abridged' version can can be found in bookstores all over the country (and no mention of Lovecraft is made, expect in the forward - I know, HAVING ACTUALLY READ IT.) Whether or not the actual demons mentioned in the book exist is another round of debate, but the rituals themselves are AUTHENTIC.

  • Comment removed

  • I like 'carry me down' myself, but in the end I give demon hunter credit for bieng able to reach a crowd that the suit and tie preachers can't.

  • Keep up the fight brother, evil will take any shape and try to mimic good, without truly vigilante warriors, the weak would be lead to slaughter with flaxen ropes loosely draped around their souls. Demon Hunter rocks.

  • >metallica pagans

    are you fucking serious?

  • For the record demon hunter sucks, for the record everyone that agrees with you is a hateful narrowminded fuck.

  • @heavymetal217 You can put lyrics to anything. I know of lots of songs with Christian lyrics in them that sound like they were just churned out of Hell's music box.I am not concerned about the lyrics, it is the music itself. Anyone coming to Christ and leaving a background that involved Satanic music hears stuff like this being used in Christian circles; a) wonders why they gave it up if God's people are messing with it too; and/or b) gets sucked right back into their old ways.

  • weak sauce-

    August burns red

    All shall perish

    Quit the Butt rock

  • In the Lyrics for "Life War" there was no mention of Christ and God! Don't get me wrong i love many styles of music, blend them, mix them, try new stuff, try old stuff, but it's gotta be more bolder than this when it comes to talking about God and his Son Jesus Christ! I could easily accept these lyrics believing in the Greek god Ares, who is the god of war (little g cause he's not LOL, Jesus will cut him up like a Katana Sword cutting flesh) Anyway just saying bolder lyrics needed :)!

  • Know why I don't listen to 'modern' Christian music?

'Cause it sounds EXACTLY like the garbage that Satan's people churn out.

What's the matter, Christian bands/artists? Are you afraid you won't win the mainstream audience if your music doesn't sound exactly like the stuff they are already listening to?

Christian music is supposed to win the listener by glorifying God, not by getting them addicted to the sound (which is what the mainstream bands do).

Sorry, Molotov. Gotta thumbs down this one.

  • @CAUGHTUPALIVE1

As much as this band fucking sucks, and the "satan people" music is so much better.

Your view on music is probably like your brain, very small.

  • @CAUGHTUPALIVE1 Why must you demonize the secular world by calling us "Satans People"? We're not evil, we just don't believe the same things you do.

Christian bands are mimicking popular music because its better than anything they could put out on their own. Christian music hasn't been relevant since the early 20th century when gospel spirituals inspired what would later become country and the blues.

  • @Cenamark2 Can't find your first comment-will respond if you re-post.

As for demonizing the secular world? You mis-read, am not 'demonizing' them at large, I am 'demonizing' the Heavy Metal and hardcore secular musicians that the modern 'Christian' artists are mimicking - many of these whom serve Satan (or claim to) either openly or secretly. Whether or not you believe Satan exists is your choice; I know he does from personal experience. Go ahead and mock, but been through some STUFF in my time.

  • Molotov, next your going to post this music... upload it in HD quality.

  • As I Lay Dying and Haste the Day are both awesome Lifecore bands.

  • I'm sorry, this is where I unsubscribe. Yeah, I was mostly with you to this point. I tried to ignore the constant flaunting of your religion and all the little things that irked me because you seemed like you had good intentions with railing against Obama

But i can't take 2 things: Treating gays like they are bad just for being gay, and bashing bands that mean something to me. God doesn't send LGBT peoples to hell just for being that way. Also, Metallica's music is 3000 times better than this

  • @1:09 I felt like head butting a baby.... LOL jk jk well kinda rofl

  • From the sound of most Christian music and the appearance of bookstores that sell it, you'd think life was a flower filled acoustic guitar & tambourine wonderland of epic peace and gentle waterfall tranquility. But Demon Hunter recalls the truth that the human experience is nothing less than a terrifying battle to find Christ & retain our souls against an enemy we can neither see nor destroy. God help us all.

  • check A Plea for Purging. heavy and i think way better than Demon Hunter

  • You might try playing there music backwards to see what messages there putting in their music?

  • Heck, they wrote a song called "The Wrath Of God", but I suppose you'll find a way of how that falls short of your standard of perfection as well. Jeez...

  • To anyone who tries to claim Demon Hunter isn't overtly Christian, look up the lyrics to As We Wept, Relentless Intolerance, The Science Of Lies, Undying, Storm The Gates Of Hell, Carry Me Down, Thorns, Fiction Kingdom, This Is The Line, The World Is A Thorn, Blood In The Tears, Shallow Water, or Fading Away. Then slap yourselves.

Also, look up A Thread Of Light. The song is about folks like y'all.

  • call me square.. but um,.. how can you listen to that 'christian' music????

  • For Today> every band live. Go see them if they come to your town, you won't regret it.

  • Not opposed to Christian Rock, but for spirutual songs I prefer the classic stuff: Gregorian, Corsican and Byzantine Chant, Mozart's Missa Brevis, Russian Chant and pieces by John Rutter and John Taverner. Sounds like something good to work out to though. May give them a listnen and a buy on I Tunes soon. Thanks for posting this!

  • @illuminatitv I think there may be something wrong with your video editor... The music sounds really crappy... Oh wait, never mind. It's just the band.

  • Much is communicated by the medium. If I didn't know the lyrics I would say that this music was demonic. True we're at war, but we fight with honor and love not hate a rage.

  • "we are in this world to fight" as soon as he said that, something just clicked. Suddenly the world makes a little more sense.

  • cool. i like it. i am more of a country music, folks music, kinda guy. but its nice. imo

  • In Scotland we're currently fighting against our government to stop them legalising gay marriage. Even though 70% of the electorate is Christian and we've held rallies against it, the liberals stamp their feet and make noise until weak politicians bend to their will.

  • That music is atrocious.

  • @weecraig898 Actually the second song is quite good. Sorry.

  • I listen to Red. Their just as awesome.

I wont buy any POS that thinks the murdering of babies isnt a noble enough cause to be featured in Gates of Hell.

Just goes to show you that even "christian" bands have a limit, and even DemonHunter has a level of liberal political correctness.

  • @alielbaryeshua Um.... Red hasn't definitely mentioned God a single time in their lyrics, nor have they mentioned abortion or salvation or even paraphrased a Bible verse. If that's not politically correct, I don't know what is. Flyleaf takes 'bolder' stances than either DH or Red, though, yet still has phenomenal mainstream success.

But I must point out that I do love Red.

  • @Josh2o Have you heard Red's "Death of Me"? The title in itself refers to the bible, but just to be clear, the song is about the old man "flesh" warring against the new man "spirit".

"Already Over" is about a mans dispair that there is nothing he can do to be forgiven.

"Breath into Me", is a song of a man who was saved, but has fallen from the faith and asking God to breath life into him a new.

  • @alielbaryeshua Very true, but to someone who has never read the Bible, what will any of those mean? They're Christian only to Christians.

"Death of Me" would be a song about suicide, "Already Over" a relationship that was one-sided. "Breath Into Me" would mean something spiritual, though. "Pieces" seems to be the most obviously Christian, maybe "Not Alone".

The self-proclaimed secular band, Creed, was more blatant than that about where Salvation comes from, though.

  • @alielbaryeshua Um... that wasn't DH, dude.

  • Death Metal destroys the mainstream crap that most sheep listen to now days!!!

  • Make war by tedashi. It will get you amped

  • Another good christian band is seventh seal.

  • Music is art, and art has been used forever for religious purposes. Christian metal is just a new form of that, it's legitimate although not my choice for auditory pleasure.

  • nu-metal isn't music and christian music is pointless.

  • Who cares if they're Christian or not? Religion is stupid. Their music is pretty good, so I wouldn't care if they were Muslim, Buddist, Athiest, or whatever.

  • Heavy metal screeching sucks so bad... It's just a bunch of noise. But relative to the snippets you posted, what about it was Gospel oriented? Simply singing about 'Christian' themes doesn't mean you're singing the Gospels - or else even Beyonce would be a Christian singer.

  • @aveyowyns There's a lot, actually.

  • Psalms 100 says make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.

Demon Hunter doesn't sound very joyful. Therefore, I don't consider it Christian music

  • @James29440 what's not joyful to you could be considered joyful to others.

  • @satudor It doesn't have to be joyful, to me, it has to be joyful unto the Lord. That's why it's not Christian music.

  • @James29440 that's what i mean...who are you to say that the Lord doesn't consider this joyful?

  • What's a demon? Can't find that word in the Bible. No such thing as Christian Rock by the way.

  • @UCAGIB matt. 8: 28-34 NIV

  • @satudor King James Bible: '...there met him two possessed with devils...' Demons are mythological creatures which could be either good or evil. The Bible never uses the term demon unless you are reading the Not Inspired Version. And in that case please tell me how to get those creatures out of a person by quoting to me Matthew 17:21.

  • @UCAGIB according to webster's dictionary....devil = an evil spirit; a demon.

  • @satudor The Bible is the Bible's dictionary. Webster is fallible.

  • @UCAGIB and you aren't fallible? what makes you an authority on whether or not devil = demon in the Bible?

  • @satudor&UCAGIB I think I can settle this. The KJV Bible uses the term 'devil' or 'unclean spirit' or 'evil spirit' to describe the fallen angels that serve Satan, and plague humanity. The word 'demon' comes from 'daemon'; which just means 'spirit'. The term 'demon' in more modern conversation describes the lesser evil spirits, and 'devil' is mostly used to refer to Satan himself.

Downside: 'demon' does not literally mean 'evil spirit'; many religions do not believe demons = devils. :-(

  • @CAUGHTUPALIVE1

Holy fuck god, and satan aren't for real. Why do you people believe in fucking fairy tales?

Like saying evolution doesn't exist, we have proof of evolution. They're called cell cultures.

  • @n0t0mega I sit here in awe at you, watching a Christian video, telling me that God and Satan do not exist (while cursing me out), and telling me that my brain is small?? LOL! Why not do a little research into your 'so-called' proof of evolution. Ever think that the scientists who researched all of this, and presented their findings to the public (without being able to PROVE it through demonstration) might be a little BIASED?? Do a little comparative research. You may be surprised...

  • @CAUGHTUPALIVE1

No I'm not biased, if you believe in a book with so many contradictions in it, that is quite obviously a work of fiction, your brain capacity must be low.

Also people do show research to Christians, and you just ignore it, and btw cursing does not make my argument invalid.

  • @n0t0mega Sooo.... rather than do the research yourself, you counter by telling me that one of my sources is 'contradictory', and therefore my side does not have an argument; in the same breath as telling me that MY brain capacity is low? LOL Tell me:what research has your party shown to the Christians at large, that is not being overturned by recent discoveries? And no, cursing does not invalidate your argument, just reveals your intelligence. ;-) Faith=/=blindness.

  • @CAUGHTUPALIVE1

The only "recent discoveries" that overturn evolution are psuedo science research done by "christian scientists."

Evolution is pretty much proven, when an organism breeds with another organism genetic traits are passed on, over time these can cause significant changes, the observable passing of traits is all the proof of evolution you need.

Heck massive evolution happens every day in micro organisms, when a disease changes to overcome a vaccine well that's evolution.

  • @CAUGHTUPALIVE1

Thew only reason evolution is still a theory is because there is no observation of a full species leap happening in front of someone's eyes, but it's pretty difficult to see that considering it takes hundreds of years.

Your faith makes you very blind

  • @n0t0mega An interesting fact: If one generation of any species in a 'new evolution' is not able to successfully re-produce and populate on a large scale, that species will die out. SO how many species of 'evolved' animal are we missing due to this principle at work? Survival of the fittest? If the newer animal dies out, and the old one survives...why was the evolution necessary? BTW, passing on of traits is not proof of evolution, that is simply known as HEREDITY.

  • @n0t0mega I rest my case.........

  • @n0t0mega And the fossil record.

  • @CAUGHTUPALIVE1 thanks for your input, but as far as i am concerned, they are synonyms...

  • i love you!

  • I'd also recommend Blood In The Tears. Epic song. Reminded me of some of the Psalms of David.

  • Blessed Resistance!

  • I own all their albums and I am a member of TBR. Have love DH from the start and I rejoice that you are a fellow fan brother. Praise the Lord!

  • Thanks! Their CD's will make great gifts for Christmas.

  • There's another great metal band you should check out: Becoming the Archetype

They're a bit heavier than DH, but their faith is just as "out front". If you like death metal (and who doesn't?), then BTA is a great band to check out!
