Is anyone else kind of wondering why these churches insist on emotional lighting, heavy makeup, expensive clothes, and overall commercialism? I wish it would be simpler.
It's to promote and provide an atmosphere of worship. You probably can't engage in worship very well when blasting loud heavy metal, or in a busy downtown intersection with people staring at you. These churches and bands create a peaceful environment, a place where people can walk in and leave their worries at the door and just worship God without distraction.
To the lost, lonely, suicidal, weary, argumentative, seek Jesus in prophesy and fulfilment and you will find what 'followers of Christ' know to be true.......Jesus died for all of us, because He chose to. I had thought it would be scary to hear God's voice. But, one day this year, to get me out of a puzzle of my personal life when I was thinking about a dream, God let me hear His audible voice:March, 2007. It was not scary, it was like a friend but knowing everything. I remember I said: oh, yes. Much later, I realized that I had heard His audible voice! It happened very naturally.

Our job is only to live a life that reflects God in our hearts. Sadly, once again in spite of what many Christians believe, many, maybe most, do not. I noticed many people now are afraid of talking about dreams, they are afraid of being laughed by people if they believe the dream. What a pity. God gives us the ability of dreaming but we don't use this precious gift!
I experienced God's love, power and wisdom in my daily life. He tells me what I need to do or not to do on daily basis. Sometime, He tells me in His audible voice, sometime in a vision, but most of times, in dream. I understand now it is more clear to instruct me in dream than other ways. Praise Jesus is LORD. I used to be an atheist doing medical research until I cried out to God and He spoke to me and filled me with the Holy Spirit. Praise the Holy Lord. Please pray I find a new job after my prejudice atheist coworkers fired me for being a christian and after Holy Spirit told me I should have an attitude of Faith at work and no longer need to validate hypothesis or make calibrations. Our job is only to live a life that reflects God in our hearts. Sadly, once again in spite of what many Christians believe, many, maybe most, do not. They have forgotten to live by the "fruit of the Spirit". By the way that in no way means we are to be total pacifists when attacked. Nowhere in the Bible do I find support for that.

Praise Jesus is LORD. I used to be an atheist doing medical research until I cried out to God and He spoke to me and filled me with the Holy Spirit. Praise the Holy Lord. Please pray I find a new job after my prejudice atheist coworkers fired me for being a christian and after Holy Spirit told me I should have an attitude of Faith at work and no longer need to validate hypothesis or make calibrations. Because of Jesus I was twice as productive as my coworkers,but still I get terminated!!! :(
