I can't believe EVERYthing this is saying, though. I don't see much evidence of Izetbegovic's government being fundamentalist, as I see them exploiting religion to grab power and to gain friends wherever possible. Ironically, just as Tito found friends wherever in the third world that he was able to (though I do believe that effort was more honest), Izetbegovic found friends in the Middle East.
Tudjman was shameless; Milosevic was a chameleon; but Izetbegovic was the most desperate and most powerless of the three. He had every interest in prolonging the war. What a joke.
This is brilliant in many aspects. I DO remember the early '90s and our championing of the Muslims in Bosnia being presented as proof of our humanity toward Muslims. And I have read about the Iran-Iraq was a Saddam Hussein's eventually succssful efforts to internationalize the conflict as Iran gained the upper hand from '82-'86. Izetbegovic is the biggest opportunist of all the three leaders.
Those who are implying that this documentary isn't based od a true facts, FACTS that are historicaly proven, can shut their mouth and keep learning what is true and what's not... Stupid ignorants...
this documentary is very leaning to saying oh poor serbs ya right so they killed 7,000 muslims in Srebrenica oh poor serbs, they killed countless people in Kosova because they were muslim and albanian, not to mention Croats women and children they didnt care who it was
