  • Aaah Lena teach me Russian with that beautiful smile!!!

  • YULA N LIENA!! :D

  • I feel bad for Yulia always having to explain her name when it's just Julia with a ''Y'' sound. Oh well, I guess we ALL learn something =___=...

  • yuliano spoke alittle here even tho it was in english, perhaps she's embarresed speaking english with americans..? i sure am XD

  • i always say yulia's name as you-lee-uh. i'm not a fan of joo-lee-uh. i dunno what the eff the right way is cause they say it both ways in this vid.

  • @ImmorTigerLilyxx The right way is You-lee-uh.

Because the Russian spelling is Юлия

    Ю - You

    л - L

    и - Ee

    я - ya

  • Russian language is very hard for someone how doesn't know it and try to learn it.

  • @JuliaRussianKitten Practice makes perfect ;)

  • @JuliaRussianKitten Well, not if you're from the central-eastern Europe. All languages here are more or less (usually more) similar.

  • I just Love Them!!!

  • Learn the Russian alphabet than you'll know for sure.

  • Yulia & Lena are very good teachers !! :)

HOW TO LEARN RUSSIAN PRONUNCIATION WITH t.A.T.u. !

  • @YuliatATuVolkova totally nice comment it made me laugh

  • omg trilingual !! xD

  • ok, if someone still don't understand, their names are: Yulya (full name is Yuliya) and Lena (full name is Elena)

Elena is pronouncing like this: Yelena

in russian: Юля (Юлия - full name), Лена (Елена - full name)

  • I love their accent *.*

  • Lordy! They are two of the most adorable people everr <3

  • @liveekate absofuckinglutley!!!

  • her full name is Jelena, but people always say Lena, including herself and Yulia, You-lee-ah xD

    they are so cute :')

  • correction:

    Ye-lee-n-ah

    XD

  • Right so Yulia is said the way I've been saying it, so i got that right.

Lena is said Ye-Lei-na and I've been saying it Lee-na. LOL Okay You-lee-ah and Ye-lei-na

    Okay I'm happy :)

  • They have such cute smiles!

  • LOL. people these days.

  • C'est Julie et Hélène

    LOL

  • so it ryhtmes with Björk....okay! that helps! In 9th grade, I might go by yulia..or not. XD

  • yulia doesn't rhyme with bjork. VerucaSalt79 was making a point

  • When Yulia introduces herself in interviews, she usually says Julia which bothers me because it's her name and she should have to alter the pronunciation for morons. It's like Björk. She tells peple it rhymes with JERK. Yulia should say Yulia. Not Julia.

  • in english they always call her Julia but i've never called her that. it's always been Yulia. i completely agree with you!

  • Yulia says that the reason she goes by Julia everywhere else but Russia is because she thought it would be easier to pronounce and so that it would take any complication Americans might have when saying her name...also Lena name is not Lena...its actually Elena...but in Russian it is pronounced differently than we would say it...so its just to make things less confusing for those who are not used to pronouncing their names the correct Russian way.

  • how does Elena sounds in russian?

  • Elena is full name in russian, and Lena is short name in russian. in everyday life allmost evrywhere the short names are used, but full name used in offical documents.

    Elena - Елена

    Lena - Лена

  • Hmm.... like Yelena but in a difficult accent

  • Well. I believe that it's a little bit like Jelena

  • *.*

Elena... bueno, es cosa de pronunciacion o que?

    Es algo asi como Yelena...

    Yuliya...

    Suena bien o.o

  • cool ! that was in Japan .

  • Not Japan... It's in China I believe...

  • no , I'm sure they were in japan !

  • TAIWAN!!

  • It was Taiwan

  • I love them

    they're so cute xD

  • So let me get this straight can they both speak english...or just the red head???

(i Like them regardless Their songs rock)

  • They can both speak English but Yulia has more trouble with it so Lena usually translates for her. Lena knew English since she was 4 and yulia only learned when they started singing in English

  • i luv them so much

  • how freakin' cute.

  • adorable!! :D

  • Yelena. Yulia. sounds nice. :)

  • so are you saying it like: yulya, or yulia, and with lena, are you simply saing lena or like: jilena, xD

  • I actually say it as Julia and Lena but I spell it with the Y cause some people get mad when u use the j =P

  • Correctly pronounced, their names are Yulya and Yelena... however, the most common way is Yulia and Lena. ^_^

  • these girls are so damn adorable!!

  • Me cojoni.

Non dico che non ce dormivo la notte però un bel dubbio me l'avete tolto.

    Yulia che piezz 'e femmin'!!

  • Wow!!

  • Thanks!
