One of Hitchcock's films that doesn't get mentioned a lot along with the Thirty Nine Steps. Really an outstanding film...my only criticism is the rushed romantic part of Joel McCrea and Laraine Day's relationship but I guess that's typical for the time period. Otherwise it's an outstanding film with really memorable sequences.

Like "To Catch a Thief," Hitchcock's "Foreign Correspondent" is absolutely excellent thriller with an interesting cast (McCrea and Sanders included) that is very underrated. I loved this film. Also, this is the first film Hitchcock directed with at least one American actor.

Joseph Goebbles was Hitler's Minister Of Propaganda and, literally, second in command of the Third Reich. He called this film a masterpiece of propaganda and wanted to make a film just like it. If you like this, try Mrs. Miniver and Saboteur, another Alfrd Hitchock film.
