I saw them in concert in Little Rock. They are an amazing live show. I've seen many concerts, but theirs is the only one that made me cry from the awe of it. Finally getting to see a band that was so important to my mother and I was just surreal.

I always thought of this song as the ultimate "studio track". Ann and Nancy both get to really show off their unique skills here, and the rest of the band plays great backup. Love the ending, starting at 7:22, the way everything just kind of decompresses and fades off. Gorgeous.

As a professional musician playing all genres, I am totally enamered by Ann and Nancy Wilson. Their musicianship and knowledge of what it takes to make a song both poingiant and musically interesting is second to none. I enjoy the fact that they like to cover Zepplin songs, because Robert Plant wasn't just a showman, but an integral part of what made that band great. Surely "Heart" will go down in history as one of the best rock bands of all time.

@skyball001 They had a big following in the 70s with their first 3 or 4 albums. Then they sort of went into the MTV phase in the 80s and even found success there. Nowadays it seems like it's us forty-somethings who keep the legacy alive.
Probably my favorite Heart song. I saw them in Atlanta just this past Wednesday and I was hoping they would perform this one, but they didn't. Still, I'm so glad that I was able to see them live and it was an awesome show! Love these ladies so much.
Chillingly beautiful song. I don't know what inspired this drummer to rewrite Michael Derosiers gorgeously nuanced drum part. This is just your average drummer thrashing about with hardly a sense of this amazing song - no restraint - no musicality. It really taints this masterpiece.

This is my favorite Heart song ever. No one else has ever written anything like this. I remember an interview with bassist Steve Fossen at the time, predicting this is the song they'd be remembered for one day, because of the innovation.
Ann Wilson has always had the perfect voice for rock, for female singer. Awesome and clean, remember them when they started in Seattle, cause I lived there then. 70's had some awesome groups, this is one of them.
This is one of the two songs (the other being Barracuda) where I thought somebody beat Led Zeppelin at their own game! I appreciate what Heart accomplished more today than I did in the '70s. What an impressive performance, and one of the great headphone songs of the era.

@skyball001 They had a big following in the 70s with their first 3 or 4 albums. Then they sort of went into the MTV phase in the 80s and even found success there. Nowadays it seems like it's us forty-somethings who keep the legacy alive.

Probably my favorite Heart song. I saw them in Atlanta just this past Wednesday and I was hoping they would perform this one, but they didn't. Still, I'm so glad that I was able to see them live and it was an awesome show! Love these ladies so much.

Chillingly beautiful song. I don't know what inspired this drummer to rewrite Michael Derosiers gorgeously nuanced drum part. This is just your average drummer thrashing about with hardly a sense of this amazing song - no restraint - no musicality. It really taints this masterpiece.

Saw them live in 1979 when they were touring on this album.
They were such perfectionists and hit every note live just like on the album
when they did this song. Truly awesome show !!

I always like Heart, but I saw them for the first time at the Lilith Fair last week. I was BLOWN AWAY; I had no idea how much they would rock my world! I can't wait to see them again. There's no one better than Ann Wilson!

Elvis gained allot of weight in his older years, but his voice never failed him. Ann, like Elvis has gained allot of weight in her older years, but her voice will never fail her. Who cares about the weight. I still love her.

This is my favorite Heart song ever. No one else has ever written anything like this. I remember an interview with bassist Steve Fossen at the time, predicting this is the song they'd be remembered for one day, because of the innovation.

Ann Wilson has always had the perfect voice for rock, for female singer. Awesome and clean, remember them when they started in Seattle, cause I lived there then. 70's had some awesome groups, this is one of them.

This is one of the two songs (the other being Barracuda) where I thought somebody beat Led Zeppelin at their own game! I appreciate what Heart accomplished more today than I did in the '70s. What an impressive performance, and one of the great headphone songs of the era.
