When people say things like "it has no feeling"...I have to say, I don't feel much when I listen to or play this style (no I am not claiming to be as fast because I am not) but that is not to say that the INDIVIDUAL playing the music doesn't feel something amazing. @PilGrimmm I remember our drummer experimenting with triggers on his set when death metal first came out of the grave and started to become more popular in the early 90's. We met the guys from Death and CC and played with Atheist quit often too. The triggers completely cleaned up the double bass in the studio. You could hear every click and yet it still had a slightly warm "real drum" sound connected to each strike.
