What we Africans need to do is start a missile defence system and start joint military training in-case Egypt decides to attack any one of us (Ethiopia, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda). We don’t need another war but if we are provoked we should be ready to revoke it.
@Rasxilinx joint military training? egypt trains so many african countries. missle defence egypt has more missles then every one of u. and not to mention ur countries are poor as fuck and ur militaries are stuck in the last century.
Let me try to explain to you why I made that comment.
Egypt is training African countries to protect it own interest. For example Eritrea is with Egypt in military trainings for the fact that Eritrea and Ethiopia are enemies.
Egypt has been paying off corrupted east African leaders’ money to keep them from taking up any issues about the Nile and training to their army to keep them in power.
Now that East African nations have leaders who care about the development of their country, Egypt starts bragging about war. You want war we can give you war. You like to solve this peacefully then came to the table and start talking.
@Rasxilinx war should be the last thing we are up for talks but u guys r the one who are already building dams without any agrement with egypt. and there is gonna be no war. if we are gonna attack u we are just gonna bomb the dams tht it not a total war.
@antikackz Are we poor? Obviously we are, that is why we need to use the Nile to develop our country. That does not mean we should not look at Egypt’s interest. For example if Egypt works with Ethiopia building an hydroelectric dam they can make shore the water goes back in to the source once it is used to create power. There are other many ways to work together but Egypt has to come to the table first.

If you like I can give you a link that proves the water returns back to its source (the Nile). The media (such as BBC) does not show you this because using war they make money.

It is also verified Egypt has to invade Ethiopia to stop it from diverting the Nile Sources to other rivers such as Omo River. Believe me when I say, if the war start, it will be the biggest in Africa’s history. Because the survival of each country depending on it. The only easy way out is diplomacy and working together. Like you said, we are poor we don’t have much to loss on anther hand Egypt got a lot to loss.
@Rasxilinx i saw what fighter jets uganda bought and belive me they are useless. if egypt is gonna attack there only gonna attack the nile what would be the point of invading when we could just bomb the dams. uganda cant really do anything.
@Rasxilinx well let me tell u im we have about 250 f16 plus our airdefence im pretty sure we could stop them and i think sudan will knock some of them out of the sky before u will come to egypt i dont want to start anything but the egyptian air force is way better then all of ur air forces combined ethipioa has only 40 fighters which are mig21 and mig23 they wont stand a chance im sorry but thts the truth u guys should stop building the dams so we could talk ur looking for war if u keep building
@antikackz Egypt has an impressive military arsenal on account they agreed to kiss Israel's rear end to plese the Americans. Hence, the yearly massive military aid. Those clowns couldn't build a boat without the help of the west or Israel.
@kushotto Imagine what would have happened if Egypt was located in Kenya??They would probably be selling nile water.The treaty was actually set by clonialist hence it can not be viable unless they advice Britain to colonize Kenya again.Kenyans, lets now fund irrigation projects..
