I'm amazed the cat didn't react badly. His kill was being threatened, and while that was happening, he was being subjected to a painful quill extraction. My Patterdale Terrier wouldn't have allowed me to do that, and would probably have required a muzzle. He is a bit of a hard-nose, as some are. I'm glad you protected your "pretty face" Dave;) You look great on camera, but maybe not after a tiger claw treatment.

He has already gotten the claw treatment. He was attacked in the nineties. I think it was a Lion though.
I can't believe he went lip to lip with that tiger. Not only dangerous but disgusting when you think about it. That Tiger has been eating raw flesh, bone, and guts.

Wow the man that worked with the tigers handled plucking the quills out of the tiger really well without getting attacked. That's amazing. Though I really hope they do not set the tigers free into the African wild, it would become a problem for both lions and tigers, and their territory. Plus, those two would be the only ones there, it would be best to set them in an area where there are others of their kind for reproducing purposes.

How stupid is it to rewild tigers in africa??? the Nature divided lions and tigers because they are both so strong and they would just destroy each other...and besides, tigers as lonley hunters, will really have problems in protecting a certain territory of their own and ensure their food to survive...IT REALLY SUCKS HOW HUMANS DO SUCH TERRIBLE MISTAKES....

that's right and besides what about when they'll have to confont Hyenas too?. Lions live in prides and can protect together from hyenas, but tigers are alone hunters, and can have problems with them.

This is quite a video! It's interesting that even though the tigers were so playful with him before, the dead porcupine seemed to bring out their instincts, and they were even growling at the guy.
