Because I am a geek here goes: the following are missing Seychelles, São Tomé and Príncipe Central African Republic, Cape Verde Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso and South Africa. Some small nations in Europe are missed too. Not to mention the ones missed from the Pacific etc. Some names are put in to make the song work he says Borneo, Sumatra, Crete, and Transylvania which are not nations and were not in 1990-91. He says Dahomey and Kampuchea which even in 90-91 were called Benin and Cambodia.

I presume the song is from between Oct 90 (German reunification) and May 91(independence for Eritrea) or June 91 (independence for Croatia and Slovenia). This goes some way to explain some of the missing nations. Even so I think we maybe need to give up the expectation that this song was supposed to have all the countries in the world and just enjoy it. There are various Anomalies and archaisms even for the time it was written but only a geek like me would point them out.

What you call Palestine is part of Israel FFS. You can't get a Palestinian passport, you need an Israeli one to get to the west bank or Gaza strip(Which are parts of Israel). It does not meet the requirements to be a country nor is it internationally recognized as a country. Go search up Palestine and country on Google, see what you find. Palestine has never had any sort of government so it never was a country.
