I saw a video once of someone doing the tengu bit without killing anyone. Its on youtube somewhere. He used the coolant spray and after some time i think the tengus froze up or something. Like a glitch.

and btw. The way you killed Vamp was NUTS. He use to be so hard for me to do with a Tranquilizer.

The Tengas were HARD as hell to fight without killing. Not to brag here but I did a run like this but I also added a bunch more rules to make it harder like not ever getting hit. The way that I did the Tengas without getting hit is use Snake to do all the killing. It was kind of weird but he would have different intelligence types...sometimes he'd act super smart and be a ravenous killing machine other times not. I think I just stayed in a corner katana blocking or something while he killed.

Wow the last time I was this relieved is when I beat the motorcycle chase on MGS4 trying to get the BBE (BIG BOSS EMBLEM) Man I'm so happy. Dude it probable took me 30 something tries, and I used the same trick that you used. I saw people use that trick a lot and I was like wow the hell did he stand up there that long knifing at you and I did it man!!!!!!!

when ur fighting the tengus firts put a m9 bullet to snakes head when hes asleap the tengus wont shoot anymore somehow, then stand behind the crate and use the sprayplant or something that thing u put out the bombs of fatman

only do this when ur at the end of the room with the closed door, but first go with ur hf blade and push l1 to block the bullets and let snake shoot the tengus

Just before the room were you shoot nikita there is another shorter ventilation system

I never knew about the Vamp trick; I did the fight the hard way without dying after a dozen tries. Not fun at all. He doesnt move twice as fast if you smash the lights though, but my strategy was to shoot him during the throw knives phase, and melee with Nikita during the shanking phase. Best way to hit him is in First person view while holding R2 as well, since that'll make Raiden aim at wherever he leaps to.

Try this, Darkkefka. When you use the HF Blade, Raiden can only block bullets if you hold the button while he is NOT moving. If you move while blocking with your sword, he wont block shots. The Tengu part was the HARDEST bit in my Big Boss run, so I highly recommend using one of your eight saves allowed to save there.
