That $315 Billion spent so far is only about 6 % of one years worth of bond issues in the Greenback.... ( 2006 ) So if it protects the USA from a similar fall in the value of the dollar by maintaining the Petrodollar monopoly over the ever rising Euro, than it is very good value for money. And if Iran starts an Oil Bourse to sell in EURO's guess what... BOOM BOOM all over again
