The egg was seriously impressive! I love the way it rolls around the plate a while before exploding. It 'broke' the microwave? I thought it just blasted the door open a little, so it might have only broken the safety switch...
the so called "lead" in your pencil isn't even lead. in the 1500s, when the only deposit of naturally solid graphite was discovered, chemistry was in its infancy, and so they assumed it was a form of lead. instead, it was the perfectly harmless carbon compound, graphite. If they still used lead now, it would be banned quickly due to health issues.
Watching it again it is cool to see how the foil acted as an antenna. When the zigzag was pointing at the camera the noise increased, and when it is orthogonal to the camera the video distortion is the worst.
Ahh, a classic college prank. When you put the tin foil in you can hear and see the shot noise the radiation created in your camera. I imagine you got a healthy dose of radiation yourself.
