Just got off the Oasis yesterday. I had a total blast and there was never a moment when I was bored. Not sure why people are comparing this to a mall... Only Deck 5 is similar to a mall (out of 16 decks). But the pools, theaters, casino, clubs, bars, games, food, excursions, scenery, being treated like royalty the entire cruise, the spa and central park made this cruise an unforgettable experience for me. For those going, be sure to go to the Adult Quest... you'll never forget it!! Have fun! :-)

My Aunt took me on a cruise, and it is nothing like anything you've experienced on land! You can walk outside, and look at the ocean, and watch the islands and land you are passing, and stop in places that are so beautiful for tours! The FOOD is awesome! They have chocolate extravaganzas, and there are so many choices, you can't make up your mind! The stores have unique things for sale, and the beds are luxurious! I loved every second, and would go again in a heartbeat!

I dont think any of you understand how amazing a royal carribean cruise experience is. All of you saying it's just like being in a mall for a week, it's nothing like that. Theres so many things to do on a cruise, expecially this one. There's a teen club, great food, a kids club, a spa, a salon, a theatre, an ice skating rink, rock climbing walls, an aqua theatre, central park, you name it. This cruise is epic. The experience will stay with you forever. I can't wait til i get on it June 18th <3

the bigger the cruse ship the worst the experience. The best cruses have under 500 passengers. Although you might not be on the worlds biggest ship, or in the worlds biggest mall or have the worlds biggest pool. But you get to meet more people, interact better, and wait,,, the best part is that a smaller boat can go to more places (shallower waters and narrower channels), not to mention the food is quite often better. On a smaller cruses boat its not about the boat, its about the surroundings

It can probably turn and stop faster than most smaller ships with traditional shaftlines and rudders because full propeller thrust can quickly be turned to any direction. Also, the bow thrusters alone have more power than some rather big passenger ships...

I guess if the ship's captain somehow decided to take this cruise ship on the ocean (she's not designed to be an ocean liner like Queen Mary 2) and intentionally going full speed ahead in some thick fog, and also ignoring radar, and other ships seeing her on their radar well within range, then she could possibly sink from some nasty collision with another ship

and even if she would, there'd be plenty of time to save ALL passengers.
