I grew up there. That dam needed to be removed a long time ago. It was a matter of time before it failed. Believe me, it would have been a lot worse if that dam had simply failed instead of being removed in a systematic way. As with all things to do with nature, unpredictable things happen. And there's always a human being who thinks they know more than they do.

Omg,what an ugly sight. Everyone involved in this destruction should be shot,it will never be as beautiful as it was just like Savage rapids area.I am truly saddened by this. Bob hunter is an A-hole and I hope he drowns on his maiden trip to the ocean.
