@text68 Unless he suddenly dropped 5 feet there is no good reason not to mark it. Progressions show an athlete's level of consistency and can teach you things about the way you compete. It's also nice to have extra numbers for personal records even if they don't count for anything.
@f1uckingretard Past HS only the highest mark matters. Any D1 coach will tell you that you may as well scratch anything under your best mark for the meet. Trust me, in HS sure, it matters, but all you need is 2 consistent throws in a meet in the case of a tie.

No, just like at any level it's highest mark matters. He threw 66' the throw before so why should he save a 64 footer? Makes no sense.
