Dont hold out the notes too long on everything, and sing out on the chorus like you did on "Is to be satisfied." A little work on the pitchs in some spots, but if you get that taken care of, you got a voice in ya. Good job, and you are right about the camera, it sounds pretty good .

Very good job... Here's a little tidbit of information for you that you may not know. Ronnie Van Zant's Daughter, Melody, is married to the guitar player for Shinedown. In the video, the dark haired lady you see cameos of is actually Melody, and the beautiful little blonde girl is Melody's Daughter. She's holding a picture of her Grandfather, Ronnie Van Zant. That's the only reason Shinedown covered this song, as a tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd.

You had a tough act to follow here. Brent Smith did an awesome cover. Yours was very good. Funny, most people don't know how hard it is to sing the word "Simple" And in this song you have to do it a bunch of times. Good job putting the twang on the word "try"

Yes, he did. He is one of the best, IMHO. I appreciate the good words, this is one of the hardest covers for me to do. Usually I do one live take and put it up...I must have sang this one 20 times before I felt it decent enough to post.

It even sounds pretty much the same through my headphones, I use them while editing. Then when I take them off and listen through speakers, sometimes I hear myself out of tune and wonder how.

You sure can belt out a tune and with time you will have a unique singing voice, needs more gravel :) I notice too that you were a bit flat on some notes, have you tried singing with one of those in ear headphones in just one ear? It might help you to fine tune some of those harder notes.

I use Ulead for the text effects and Sony Vegas for the transition and video effects. I still have Adobe Premiere sitting here unused because so far i'm satisfied with the software i'm using...and thank you!
