I believe our governments could do more everything is over packaged and it is the consumer who has to solve the waist problems. You are on a daily basis faced with supermarkets still full of plastic bags to carry your shopping in, why? Money if they stopped having them then the consumer would have to wake up and take a bag that is reusable and biodegradable. Well done on a happy and spiritual marriage. I had better stop there☺ thank you Howage1 Forgive me I talk to much ☺
@LadyQuaintly I have a lot of cloth bags for shopping. Making a bag that is biodegradable...do you think that would be possible? Id like your thoughts on this.
Plastic containers are rife; in our county we now have a recycling such as milk containers. The trouble with this is the lids being of a different colour they cannot be disposed of as recyclable so therefore land up in land sites. There is a lot we can do but when you are only left with the option of supermarkets and milk sold in plastic containers, this being just one item, leaves a big problem for hungry families.
My husband ,a Captain of 25 years, agrees with the fact that there are huge quantities of floating masses of debris, along the currents through out the waters of the world. I came back from having a week at my home town ocean after 5 years away from there and when I went into the water and smelled it and tasted it. It seemed to me as if it were dying. I left knowing it was my last time there. :(

His book is on its Third Printing and is amazing. I'm not soliciting but I think it should be in every household. Mohawk, Seneca, Onieda, Onandaga, Chayuga or not, this is vital information for the survival of our planet and us.
This mass of plastic refuse was shown on a recent documentary. It is huge. Animal samples taken showed plastic in their stomachs too. Hopefully this is all not too late. Lets do our part for our Mother Earth.
Thanks for posting this. I orderred Sakokwenionkwas's book and so should everyone.
Small Bear Prophecy 1. Many will hide under beds 2. Many will empty their banks in fear 3. Many will riot in cities, mayhem 4. Many on roof tops waiting for aliens 5. Many in bomb bunkers 6. Those fleeing out of cities will plug up freeways 7. Cops & army will be everywhere 8. Many will buy gear and RV's fuel will be hard to find 9. Collective religious numbers will be tested 10. Thousands will commit suicide before or after All of this caused by our BELIEF and FEAR Ohkwa:ri'

I agree we should all come together and clean up the world we live in, and where there is land we should all plant a seed.
