hey, does this benq g2400w have audio output so i can hook up my speakers and headphones to? none of the specs say anything about audio for this product!
you only need audio jack if its not using hdmi right? well i got a hdmi cable so was just planning to plug the ps3 to the monitor with it and my speakers to the audio output IF it has one... anyone know fo shure?
I just got this monitor about a week ago. It is fantastic. Not perfect, but what TN panel is? Still, it's one of the better TN's I've ever used, and at it's price point, this thing is an absolute steal. Apparently, it's perfect for PS3 over HDMI at 1:1, although I don't own a PS3 myself (yet), I'm just going on what I've read. For PC, it's working great using DVI.
Awesome monitor. If you're thinking of buying one, don't hesitate, you won't regret the purchase.

i noticed that there are black boxes at the top and bottom of the screen, can we get rid of those? will the screen look choppy?

I think becuase this screens aspect ratio is 16:10 and ps3:s 16:9 so u might not get rid of those, but still they're so small pices only

It because its using 1:1 pixel mapping. You can make it fit the screen but because of the resolution (1920x1200) it has to stretch it.

In the pictures, it shows that this monitor has a 3.5mm audio jack on the side

yup that's right. the audio output on the monitor is just for the sound from the HDMI signal. It won't support dolby digi though

i guess so, the taiwanese manual says there is a 1:1 option and overscan.
Its the best screen with full hd and 1:1 mode out there.
I got FP222WH but upscale is crappy so i want this one too
