I first discovered Baten Kaitos when I received Nintendo Power I couldn't help but constantly return to the articles to re-read it. I decided, I'm going to buy this game. A few years passed and I went back to the magazine and I remembered. I ran to Target to find they didn't have it, but I felt that it was close. I kept looking through their games and then I found it.. Baten Kaitos Origins. I dished out forty dollars and sprinted home put it in my Gamecube. BEST DECISION EVER.

@fuzyy1994 Sorry, but it does. The music varies exceptionally, and no one on earth can say they don't like the entire soundtrack. It's too varied.

For me, it's pieces like this one, the ones that exude strength, grace and mystique that really draw my attention, making my mind wander in the miracles of the world of Baten Kaitos. These pieces are amongst the best pieces of music I know, and it really makes me dislike people who feel that music from a game isn't real music.

@NeutralDrow There is a way - but it requires a lot of time sadly. If you get the Shampoo card it tells you to try it for a week and you'll have beauiful hair - if you hold the card for a week in game time all the songs get unlocked for you as the shampoo card turns into a beautiful hair card (I think)

the reason they can't make a sequel is because there's nothing they can add to the story... in the end, everyone lost their wings and Malpercio was defeated... there's nothing to add to the story... Although I liked the battle system in the second game more, the first had a better storyline... but also sounded like they were talking into bottles all the time except for battles.

This game is awesome. I played it 3 times.

The story, the music, the character and the voices, combat system. everything is perfect.

There only three games I really like the english/american voices.

1.)Castlevania - Symphony of the night

2.)Tales of Symphonia 1 (Kratos ^_^)

3.)Baten Kaitos EWLO (origins or how it`s called is not as good as this one ^^ I played it for a while and was very disappointed)

This song was always my favorite in Baten Kaitos. No other can compare to it (to me, anyways). It gives a feeling of calm and peace, something rare in a song. Baten Kaitos holds so many good memories for me, as well as bad (i.e getting defeated by the bosses), but it was also the very first game I had that made me save various files to watch certain scenes over and over again.

Whoever hates this game probably doesn't know what a true RPG should be like. It should be everything Baten Kaitos is

I love a lot of the music, but I think it could have been improved by having a few more tracks. I like it better when I can attribute certain music to each town and sometimes individual bosses (probably got that from Tales games!) and BK doesn't really do that, except for mixing up the themes a little with the bosses. That said, I LOVE Chaotic Dance and Rumbling of the Earth!!! ...The music in BK reminds me so much of SO3...
