Looks like your fighting it. If you have to fight it ,you ain't doing it right. Depth skid wants to be 3 notches lower and only half the revs will give you all the right digging. At this you should be able to start it up set it off and walk along side it with just one hand on the handlebars. honest it works and I have been doing it for over 30 years.
@aajlrrecruit Thanks. This was it's first outing and since I haven't used one for about the same time you have been, I thought it was more like me being out of condition hehehe. I've just seen your message and can confirm that, after reducing the governor a bit at a time, it now digs sweetly on tick over revs. Someone suggested doubling the tines to 8 and with that HP, I suppose I could. It would be nice to make use of the horses.
