Props to the good soliders (the bad ones know who you are, i.e. those that do it to kill or for money). Don't kid yourselves though, this propaganda distorts the fact that you invaded a soveriegn nation, did not declare war, and killed/captured many innocent people in their own home land. We are not 100% correct or good, and they sure are not 100% evil
This is more of the same bullshit. Trying to make Murder, Inc. look good and righteous. Well, tell a lie long enough and there are enough proles out there to swallow it.
I think i recall encountering with your unit. I was 2nd MAW MAG 39 HMLA 367 out of Pendleton. Well me and my bud received a distress call outside of the Diahla river for close air support for marines. The situation was, if i racall correctly, theres were some amtracs that were bogged down in mud after heavy rain and under in tense fire. Well that day i destroyed 3 compounds with TOW missles and some Hajis with 20 mm. Well im glad u guys made it home! Thats my job. Semper Fi-2nd lt.Martinez
I do not find very many OIF 1 videos or slide shows on here. It is always really good to see those, since our experience was truly unique. Everything was new, we did not know what quite to expect. There were literally no luxeries or anything of the kind. If you know of any other videos from the early part of the war, please let me know.
I actually have about three hours of raw footage on Mini DV that I'd really like edit and post on here. I have absolutely no way to download images from the tapes right now. Someday though. Until then, all I had were my still photos.
That's awsome. All I had was my camera, which broke right before the Amtrac pulled down the statue of Saddam Hussein in the traffic square. I have the before photo, but did not get the after. I wish I had actual video though. I would love to see yours when you are able to get it on the computer.
Man who are you telling. Once you keft Kuwait you left Beverly Hills. On to burning shitters. I was there Feb 1st 03 - Jun 9th 03. I got pics on myspace,

@yesiamawizardjonny RCT-1 were a bunch of coddled softies from that resort they call Camp Pendleton. The real Marines came from Twentynine Palms.
