  • I am goy , but I love Judaism and Jewish cultures.

  • I have seen mitzvah dances where the bride has her face covered by a veil. The bride in this video shows her face. Is that because there are different rules for the various groups?

  • @minhali Different customs.

  • When I grow up I want to be a disco dancer like him.

  • Why does the rebbe have his daughter-in-law on a leash?

  • @minhali lol

  • its very fun

  • hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • @superpricil no. Jews that do believe in him as the messiah are sequestered from the religious Jews.

  • as an Israeli I say: LOL!!!

  • @dardar505 you Israeli ? I am goy, but i think you should respect your religion. You are the people of G.od, accept it.

  • Looks more like an old Eastern European dancing ritual than something related to the ancient Jews of Palestine.

PS, did the Jews of the Old Testament days wear 16th century Polish/Russian clothing? :)

  • @illegalsmirf It is more of a dance of ancient Israel, only that the clothing has changed because of the cold climate up north and now thatall the clothes adhere to Jewish law why not keep them. Arab dress was not were in the days of Ancient Israel either.

  • @MattiasAyd Yes with your mothers vaginia

  • @SuperPricil nope、they only believe in his father G-d

  • Do they believe in Yehoshua ( Jesus) the Messiah ?

  • hakhem hakhme ...el babbi raa lllll...lool..hakhem...patuuyee

  • he should be on dancing with the stars-what foot work, what form, what a schlamel

  • Could anyone explain to me what the signification of this dance is? Is it the Father of the Bride or the bridegroom who dances? What is the white cord, and when the man leaves the cord, what does that mean? Why is the bride not dancing and where are the other women? I saw a lot of this Mitzwa dances on you tube and I would love to know more, but I never found an explanation.

Tank you! And masel tov for the couple!

  • @MissBumblebee222 1. The significance of mitzva tanz is that G-d rests his presence on the face of a bride. Hence the mitzva tanz is actually a dance before G-d himself. 2. The white cord is actually a "gartel." Gartels come in black and white and are used as belts during prayer time. Its significance is only that a man cannot touch the bride, so the gartel is the in-between. 3. The bride does not dance because the dance is not for her (read #1). 4. The other women are probably seated bhnd

  • HAAHAAHHAAHA religious idiots.

  • @Mr12stringbass : Not everyone religious is an idiot, and not everyone "attheist" is a clever man... and obviously you wrote shit. Get explained to you by a rebbe or a religion teacher what it means, dude^^
