single shot rolling block with a flintlock style cocking hammer and peep sights shooting through black spruce at THE bull that had been in our minds all week...other than that I don't know...think he did pretty good under the circumstances myself :-)...watch the vid again at one point you here vince say "wish we had a 300 now"....Jim Did it the hard way..anyone can pick em off from 300 yards with a scoped bolt .338
