@OSSEOslayerJR we had an old 51 chevy 5 ton truck that we installed a built detroit 6V92 into with 2 spools. 1 from a semi that drove a substantial 110mm turbo. that produced around 105 psi. diesels can take many times more boost than gasoline engines.

A diesel engine puts out mainly Nitrogen oxide, methane, sulfur and soot. A gasoline engine puts out Carbon dioxide and monoxide, nitrogen oxide, sulfur(the ole' catalytic converter takes care of most of this).

The reason you think it's better is because in the long run the 20-40% improvement in fuel economy over gasoline offsets the higher CO2 emissions per litre. But, seeing as that truck is burning more diesel than probably even a veyron, i think it's alot more destructive to the planet.
