HELLO READ THIS

not ALL router brands are the same. If you don't have linksys, dont ask him what your router brand is.

if u wanna find it:

1.press command and then space

2.type system preference

3.in system preference, choose network

4.now there should be an advanced button in the right below corner. press it

5.press TCP/IP and your router is there, which leads you to your router brand's website

@HeyItsFuzzy read the comments. If you have a password on your wifi try that. Try basic passwords ie;1234, 0000, password, admin,etc

@MarshmellowzRulex3 All you have to do in Terminal just type op nameofplayerhere and then they will have all commands. When in game you type /commandhere. If you want to switch into creative mode type /gamemode namehere 1(or)0. For more info look on the minecraft server.

@cocopup220 its fine if you have a different site that justs means you have a different router so a different site. i have a linksys so i get a linksys setup site. Just try to find something about portforwarding. it could be under gaming advanced or something of the sort. All the other things will be pretty similar. @zAnnekz make sure you are going to the right router when you portforward(i think I have a video for 1.6.6 server thats better.) java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar minecraft_server.jar should be what you start with. java -Xmx2048M -Xms2048M -jar minecraft_server.jar should be what you end with for 2gb of ram.

@laris126 no.... That saves the world and stops the server. You could try that but it sounds like portforwarding. make sure your ip and the tcip thing.
