There's a reason Chilrden of Bodom are considered MELODIC Death metal. The notes are supposed to be higher for a more MELODIC sound. For their genre of MELODIC DEATH METAL they're one of the best at what they do along with Norther. Bullet for my Valentine is in quite a different genre,where throwing in,not to offend anyone but, whiney vocals along with the growling/screaming, and heavier sound is more important to that fanbase.There really isn't a reason to insult an obviously very talented band
