Hope you don't take this the wrong way, because you play great, but could you play through once before you begin. I think tutorials that 1st play though the section being taught help reinforce the lesson, especially when the person who want to learn is not exactly sure how the song goes.

at 7:49 you hit a chord that is not in the rundown at the beginning. I love it and I think it's an A7 with a B in the bottom but it's definitely not a standard chord in the 1 7 3 6 2 5 progression. You got some 'splaining to do on that one lol.

That's called a tritone substitution, it gives the 7 3 6 a juicier sound.

i know tritone subs so the 7 is a B that would mean you are putting some sort of F chord there and in your right hand i see D E A C# E. looks like an A sus or something to me. i like the sound, just curious how you come up with that chord there or what you would call it.

Very good instructional. Only suggestion is to be careful how you write your flats and sharps...for example, for the 3 chord you should've written E B E/G# B E instead of E B E/Ab B E...there's no Ab in E major.

The hardest way is the best way. The song is in C -so u start working with it in the key of C. (Most vocals will be at ease in the same key it's wrote in) The big pros out there will tell u to practice ur fav. song in all 12 keys. It's a good work out for u. -EB

think of the major/minor scales as a series of whole steps and half steps.a step is the distance between the notes.A half step is the next closest note up from the note you are playing and a whole step is 2 half steps

You can use these formulas to find the major/minor scale of any key

R=root note(the main note of the key you are playing in)

W=whole step and

H=half step

Major scale R-W-W-H-W-W-W-H

Example C-D-E-F-G-A-B-C

Minor scale R-W- H-W-W-H-W-W

Example C-D-Eb-F-G-G#-Bb-C
