All of these trucks need to air down, run wider tires such as a 14.5 or a 15.5 instead of a 12.5, run a road/all terrain tire rather than mud tires and outfit their trailers the same. Also...why do you need a camper that huge!?!?! and on the sand? and why do you need a truck that heavy? jee.

@bestamerica , correct. We took the pop up out to the beach this summer. And I will never do it again,unless at a rv park or on a concrete slap. There was sand all inside and that sand can damage the bottom. . Plus u can get stuck .

(one of the times i dident fell like airing down)

Well when a 8,000 lb truck is buried to it's axles/frame in soft sand with E rated highway tires and the 15,000 lb trailer is also stuck in the same soft sand, it can take ALOT.

weekends, but you better have one for holiday weekends like fathers day weekend, fourth of july weekend, thanksgiving weekend, new years... pretty much any holiday weekend, get a reservation... otherwise you can just get a camping permit at the beach entrances... the beach fills up fast on holiday weekends so expect for it to be crowded... i suggest going durring the middle of the week if possible...
