Cambered wheels just like a motorcycle (or Dysan vacuum cleaner as mentioned). Motorcycle wheels are big in the center and smaller to either edge. Roll a styrofoam coffee cup across a table. One end is bigger than the other but turn at the same rate. Cup turns in a nice circle. Camber thrust (force). A four wheel vehicle with controllable camber would be fun to play with!

To me anyway it seems there were alot of stupid things in the 50's like..... asbestos for one... then this weird looking machine. Their futuristic cars were laughable as hell. Huh bubble tops.
