update on what i got on my Bushmaster Ar15!

Bushmasters are not my thing. too cheaply made. I am however a Advicate of stag rifles. When I build rifles I usually start with a stag model 3, or build on a stag upper and lower receiver. I have worked on way too many bushmasters to even count, I have worked on like three stags, but that was because of improper staking of the gas key. (Another gunsmiths fault)

Very nice sight if i had it i might use a riser to surpass the front sight but thats just me. I have the same pistol grip i think its so much better than the original. I really like ur forgrip/bipod. I recently bought a forgrip i was unaware of the one u have. My gun is also bushmaster and i love it.

Very nice gun. But you know I made the same mistake, I got magpul pmags with the windows as well. I wish I didn't because I haven't looked at the window one time when shooting. I do admit, they look really cool with the window. But save yourself the $3-$4 bucks and get the non-window ones. Use the money you save to buy more mags or ammo. You will see what I am saying when you go shoot that badboy. I bet you may look at it 1 or 2 times and that's it.

i got a bushmaster myself. is a magpul masada. theres a review on youtube as well. the masada is a preaty good gun. this one is alright too, but i cant get my scope to point down :P

if you didnt like it then that's fine, doesnt bother me one bit. but the last time i checked there wasnt a minimum amount of accessories that i had to have on my AR, i like to keep things simple when it comes to my rifles.

a rifle with too many accessories is overkill, and adds to your weight/loadout. Only thing I'd suggest is some sort of light. Other than that, his AR is good as is.

@shaokem not if you know what your doing when buying parts. If you look at my recent video of my AR you will see that it is a rifle that I have built from the ground up. Nothing on it is stock. It is lighter than stock rifles have. BTW, I am not a big fan of the bushmaster master rifles. I hate the material that the receiver is made out of. Not to mention that all around, I have had to work on more bushmasters than any other AR style rifle.

Nice job of accessorizing...did you need the special tool to change your hand guard? I just ordered the daniel defense rails for my Bushmaster so I can slide my Eotech 512 forward enough to fit the flip-to-side magnifier on.

i didnt need one just because when i traided my old SA M1A for this Bushy it came with the rails on it, but to make the job of switching out the rail easier i would use the handguard tool (i think it is only like $15)

$700-$1,500 is about the ballpark, OR $2,000!!! I ordered a LMT gaspiston operated AR a while back (october of last year) and the due date right now is december! I paid for the rifle with an old car of mine I sold. I call it "Cash for Clunkers, used for Carbines" lol!

Just a Heads up, When you get your rear iron, you also might want to get a taller front sight post as Bushmaster does not use the F marked FSB. Aftermarket sights may not be able to zero without the front post being elevated alot.

lose the grip pod, its a toy and a POS. Upgrade your bolt carrier and bolt as well. Bushmaster bolts suck, and the gas key isn't staked properly.

i still haven't been able to take the grippod out to the range yet, but it does feal really good on the gun IMO. i will probably keep the bolt carrier until i have a bad malfunction, then i'll switch to a new one.

That front grip is AWESOME. Who makes it?? I want to replace the stock grip on mine and go with a rail set up and that would be perfect. Like you said in my video Im stocking up on what I can get my hands on now.

if i were you i would get rid of the grip and bipod, and get a grip pod. i love mine!

in the video it makes me look retarded because i can't shut it wit one hand, but it was easier than a regular bipod and grip seperate.

well i traded my old springfield armory m1a for the rifle.

other than that: i spent $18 on the magazine, $25 on four rail covers, $400 on the eotech 512, $25 on the CAA cheek rest thing, $60 on the grip pod, and a bunch on ammo!

so i would say a minimum of $528 on stuff for the gun, i can't for sure know of the rifle price because i made a trade for it.

but i would say it is worth close to, or over, $2000 all together!
