Its neat, but I sure don't feel like having to "propel" myself through the woods. My arms hurt enough after pushing myself around on flat ground all day. I'll have to get some videos from this fall when I'm out hunting in my powerchair. The deer will smell me a mile away from all my sweat trying to get into the woods! lol
Curious... How do you transfer into that with the levers in the way? Do they move out of the way?
I guess your not disabled... John hunts on his own alot as well as I do. We are pioneers in our wheelchair sports. Try to be open to the fact that we are different but very capable. Yes..we know our limits and are well prepared. We are professionals in what we do and hope to inspire just a few toto get out. John privides a chair that gives people in a paralysis
oops clicked too early..This chair is a blessing to people who hunt or enjoy the outdoors.. To say its a stupid commercial is...well.stupid.. I'm sorry..sir or mam Hesam0000 but you know nothing about people with disabilities
I am disabled, I use a wheelchair and neither I nor that guy in the film can get himself out if he gets stuck in the deep mud deeper than 6".
Overconfidence can get you dead if you're alone out there in the mountains where cellphones don't work.
I know lot more about disabilities than you and I would never go anywhere rough with this dumb gadget that moves a yard per hour. I'll take a 4x4 powerchair or my laser 8mph scooter and never alone unless around a large personal ranch.
Very sorry to inform you but im a C-6 quad that owns ones of these chairs. I go where no others go. You are obviously restricting urself. Im a duck hunter in south Texas and a duckman of the origional duck commander of louisianna..google us. duck commander . com...Dont knock the chair...and yes..im sure I know more about quads than u..if u wanna go there..take ur power chair lazy boy..
lol..i cant say it wasnt pricy...gotta agree there! I have to say. I got the gun rack and a duck blind with it. and it will power thru some thick stuff.. Ive sunk it up to the axle and still pushed thru. Medicare wont pay for these..I agree tho this medical crap is far to much!! Breaking me!
They buy the powerchairs from China for $150-$450 then change the name to Pride, shoprider, etc and sell them for $1200- $7000.
I asked a medical supply place to order a $1200 chair for me and later found out he had charged and received $3500 for that chair from Medicare. Bunch of shameless thieves.
Have you seen IBOT? It was $24,000. Discontinued because no one bought it.
Challenger 4x4 chairs to me are the best, they climb hills, stairs and any surface. Cost $8000-$10,000. Search it here.
I know your pain...When I was a young quad..I used some of those companies...Rip off!! For Medicare that is...Your soo right. Yeah ..saw the ibot in action at tirr..a rehab in Houston when they first came out.. I have no use for that..I use a power around the house (i have 2) to get things done quick but when I leave home im in a manual. But, for outdoors Im on my Renegade..Depends where I go lol.
I think they can get us to walk using IBOT technology plus bionic legs made as a waist down suit. If they can make a robot dog keep balanced on ice or climb stairs how can't they make a man with brains walk forward and not fall?
I think millions of people will lose hundreds of billions in business if we walk or if the sick are cured.
Very true. They want to keep you down to mass purchase cheap things made in china and sell them here for a 500% mark up. Then bill the gov. for it. Greed of money runs the world
this scares me, what if the transformers become able to scale stairways, then us people will have no safe sanctuary *runs down a narrow corridor* except here

Stupid commercials.
They show the guy go through mud and water with wheelchair in the middle of forest with no one around.
That could get someone dead if his he gets overconfidence with this chair and get himself stuck in mud with no one to help for days.

That's quite amazing. Soon, there will be no limits to where the wheelchair user can go. Good on ya for posting this.
