its a unit in editer called target its a special unit so you go down to SPC and select target

I know what triggers are and I don't have the game.

Triggers cause certain things to happen when you do certain things. Say that there's a scenario where you need to kill the leader of a colony to capture the colony's capitol. You go to the trigger and set it to where the capitol converts to your side if the leader (not an explorer, some other unit that you would rename "governor" or something) falls.
