@AmazingThrowingKnife I can't say because I don't have an AMD-based machine. Overall the guide should work on hackint0shes for the most part, but there will be some installation differences. Google is your friend for installing Lion on a PC :)
So i download Lion on the Snow Leopard partition and when ready to install I direct the Lion to install on the separate partition? You also recommend backing up, if I don't have this feature would you advise against installing Lion? Thanks for the vid, very helpful.
@macuser907 Yes, just point the Lion installer to the new Lion partition as shown in the video and you'll be good to go :)
You can backup your personal data manually by copying everything from your home folder and any other places onto an external hard drive or DVD. I don't recommend including apps as part of your backup because they may not operate properly when copied onto Lion, so you should manually reinstall all the ones you need after you're done installing Lion.
When you hit option can you put in your snow leopard disc and click on it and can you intsall it from there
