There are many kinds of pumps. They call it "Pompa" in Turkish. In english is the old farm or vintage "walking beam pump" in Spanish is the "bomba aspirante de embolo alternativo". What it is is a moveable piston inside a cilinder that is connected with the supply of water, then the water goes up and down and pushes the water up with pressure. I think this is a marvelous idea to water a garden.
