Gran Turismo 1 and Gran Turismo 5 have alot in common!! First They are both almost experimental, Gran Turismo 5 is new on the PS3 and the first to have online multiplayer and HD graphics!! Gran Turismo 1 was brand new and was the first of the series. Like Gran Turismo 1, Gran Turismo 5 has plenty of room for improvement, like when they released the second version of Gran Turismo, GT2. wow thats really disappointing. i saw unboxings of the u.k. signature edition which was nice, a better keychain and a second book. i thought the us version would just have all the same except for diff model car and not have the wallet. but the keychain looks way crappier, you dont have the fancy hood box, its car is small, and you dont get the 2nd book. i dont know if i want to buy the "collectors" edition now

People are complaining because the game has so many bad features, bugs, AI problems and graphical inconsistency between the cars, being that there are 1,000 cars on it that have been developed over 5 years that only a small handful have been polished off for release.

Also this game has been out since last friday to lucky pre-order purchasers.

The problem is they set the standard too high and failed to deliver.

The main focus on the bitching is the fact it's not as perfect as the fake "in-game" trailers made it out to be. Lots of the courses look bland, so do the cars, the in-game vehicle damage is massively disappointing too.

Polyphony suffered a small bout of Peter Molyneux syndrome, still a great game but just be honest, it's not perfect.
