I have an older hand-me-down Onkyo receiver that takes optical inputs. I just use the optical outs on all of my devices and hook it into that receiver, while the HDMI goes to the projector through a cheap manual switcher. Newer receivers should have multiple HDMI inputs with an HDMI out. You can send the out to the projector and the audio would come through flawlessly like this.
Nice video post, very informative. We can really see how the projector is in daylight. Because it helps many of us to analyse prior to buying.
BTW, this projector doesn't supports 1080p/24. Does any "Motion Judder" appears while watching action movies, especially when camera panning horizontally or vertically if watching in 1080p/50/60 or 1080i/50/60?
I really haven't seen any motion judder no matter what the format, even on panning screen shots in multiple formats. It has a pretty good refresh rate from what I can tell.
@jayls5 Thank you so much for this info. I was about to buy the next model XJ-250. But when I came to know that 1080p/24 bit mode supported I got little bit worried. You won't believe me, I have ordered for this product and at the last minute canceled the order it due to dilemma .:( Now your reply gives me some confidence. Appreciate if you can post some video with Action movies if possible.:)
Sure, I will throw in some fast paced stuff for you sometime soon. I don't have too much HD stuff at the moment, since I mostly take hand-me-down equipment.
YES!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! YOU ´RE THE MAN, from now on my favorite user will be JAYLS5 !!! I´m think gonna buy this casio model, hope plays so well over videogames!
