Silent valley is a paradise in South india . Flora and fauna are being richly beautified in this area . All Indians (Tourists) should see the silent valley. A must see area in Western Ghats .
Kerala is blessed with tropical rainforests.Yes we should definitely protect our rainforest for the future generations.Because of deforestation,we are losing so much of our rainforest,"The real heaven on Earth".
watching these scenes of nature reminds me how much beauty there is out in the world. people get so drawn in to their daily routines in life and forget about natures wonderful elated bliss. just open your eyes and take a step back from what your use to doing and you will see how beautiful life can be.
i was wondering about the butterflies at the 3:30 - 3:40. I was wondering about those butterflies because i know that they are mainly found in the ocianic islands like malaysia, indonesia, and the philippine islands. They are a protected species, and very beautiful. Can you really find those in India? I traveled to Bangldesh this past July, and that would have been great to know if they where in that area! lol
Hi, Thanks. Yes in India there are many rich protected biospheres. One is "Western Ghats" rain forests range. Many species are endemic to that region. As per WIKI (check with "Western Ghats") there are 650 butterfly species reported from this area.
As for Bangladesh, I don't know much, but there are 1) "Sundarbans", the largest mangrove forests in the world to the South, 2) "Chittagong Hill Tracts" to the Southeast, 3) border regions close to India's Northeast all are praised for biodiversity.
@pkinman17 As pkspks said it's "Southern Birdwing (Troides minos)" endemic to Indian peninsula. It's a "Shallowtail Butterfly" and the largest found in Southern India.
Beautiful place and animals. I hope the indian government will spend some money and protect places like this so the future generation can enjoy too. Everybody should write letters to the indian government and let them know. Thanks for the nice video
Thanks Kemal. The original music of this video was different. The current music is a fusion of four different audio tracks. It took a great deal to edit this video and audio with my primitive video editing tool.
Excellent video. I would like to use it in our Internet based training programme on Nature and Environmental Planning in India. The use would be entirely for educational purposes and will always be on non-profit. Credit will be given in the webpage itself. Thank you.

Hi, I forgot the names. But I am sure, they are from the great Flautist Hariprasad Chaurashia's and the Santoor Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma's albums.
