  • My 9 year old brother learned his first swear word from this show... "wollerton"

  • I seriously just didn't know guys. I was like, 10 or something and barely thought of Canada as some far-off mystical ice-land.

  • This reminds me of the joke Jeremy Hotz told: "My buddy lives there, poor bastard. His wife left him, saw her walking away for five days!" :)

You wouldn't believe how flat Saskatchewan is until you actually visit it. =P

  • It's interesting how the entire show starts with a view of the Corner Gas sign, and the entire show ends with a shot of the Corner Gas sign...

    Funniest show I've ever seen!

  • THIS SHOW WAS CANADIAN?? I had NO idea.

  • My apoligies to you americans but alot of you have no idea what canada is really like i was just in disney world and people believed me and my friend when we said canadians live in igloos

  • @frizbee138 You must have been talking to some pretty huge dumbasses.

  • Never saw it. Never heard of it. MUST FIND IT!

This clip alone makes me want to see every episode!

  • Best opening for a sitcom pilot ever.

  • lol that was funny. "Nothing to block your view". The only problem with SK... January and February. Brrrrr!

  • Saskatchewan, it's so flat that if your dog gets loose you can watch it runaway for 3 days.

  • i get goose bumps everytime I watch Corner Gas

  • saskatchewan's an awesome place. Endless fields and the sky that seems like it just goes on forever.

  • wonderful series! miss it!

  • Saskatchewan......almost like living in Kansas or Oklahoma.

  • @Lex5576 Ya except Kansas and Oklahoma dont get nearly as cold or as much snow lol

  • @Blake1155 Can't leave out Texas. Flat as all hell.

  • soo true lol

  • anybody know if the gas station and the ruby are still set up in rollo

  • Ah I miss Saskatchewan so much :(

  • This scene sums up all of Corner Gas.

    Hilarious.

  • Oh saskachewan, how i love thee, throw on the cruise control and let her go!

  • How flat is Saskatchewan?

When your dog runs away, you can still follow it for 5 days!!

  • LOL. I'm told that because Sask is so flat, on a clear day, you can see the back of your own head. :P

  • oh shit, that was awesome

  • my next vacation Saskatchewan, can't wait

  • Make sure to come during summer haha!

  • Yep, I love this Canadian show, way better than Little Mosque on the Prairie.

That CBC show suck big time.

I going to miss this show big time.

    I got them on DVD.

  • last episode tonghite :(

  • only 2 more episodes :'(

  • XDDDDD

    I love that scene. X3

Funny... Corner Gas just came on. It's weird how I perk up to the theme song... and it was really low, too. oO

  • canada has got some of the best comdy stuff her and a lot of funny people. i loce this show i watch it every day l0lz! wanda is hilarious l0lz! I LOVE CONER GAS!

  • It's not on WGN any more.... I'm so pissed about that. Is it going to come back??????

  • WGN early Tuesday mornings. Three episodes in a row starting @ 3:am.

  • yep... you are right... but i can't stay up that late and don't have tivo... sad face

  • You can find alot of Corner Gas episodes on youtube

  • It is filmed in Roleau, Saskatchewan. It is about 20 minutes south of Regina.

  • I love this show, does anyone know the actual place this is filmed in (the town)

  • Near Regina, Saskatchewan, I think.

  • A real-life Regina tour operator regularly takes busloads of tourists to Rouleau to visit Dog River. wiki

  • its filmed in dog river saskatchewan

  • Actually, the town is Roleau -- Dog River is painted on the water tower, though. I've been there -- neat place.

  • i learned about that a week ago

  • Nice.

My grandmother was in the "purple hat ladies" episode.

Corner Gas ha d agreat run. Thanks for making people laugh WITH Saskatchewan, for once. ;P

  • this is the first scene EVER!

  • love this show, im american and its better than most shows on american tv, well, no, it is much better that EVERYTHING on american tv. This and the office are really the only two tv shows i watch a lot.

  • @jeh10121989 lol u obviously arnt american

  • @dodongki lol have fun watchin yer house wives or whatevr its called...

  • @dodongki I'm not? I live in columbus ohio, is that not american?

  • I was totally there a couple months ago.

  • I love Corner Gas

  • I had a friend from Saskatchewan come over for a week here in Québec and when I asked him if he watched that show he told me, "I don't watch it, I live it". Classic.

  • LOL!

  • medicine hat is in alberta

  • the Ukranian easter egg is in Vegreville, Alberta. It's called a Pysanka.

  • I sware i just saw mountains!! oh How i love saskatchewan!!

  • Dude, my family loves this show! We hate reality TV, we always make fun of it, and stuff.

  • My Favorite Show

  • proud American here who loves this show, so does my spouse, and his family.....there's lots of flat little towns down here.....so we can relate....

  • Americans only like boobs, and reality TV, so no it won't go over very well.

  • so true

  • you don't know any Canadians who watch Canadian Idol or Big Brother...or women???

  • Big Brother sucks.......

  • very nice and healthy racism there...or national...ism. anyway im american my whole family is american and we all love this show. reality tv sucks!

  • Racism? Wtf are you talking about? :P It's just good old prairie wit.

  • it was poorly worded i assume...i wasnt talking about the show, the guy who says americans only like boobs and reality tv. the shows great and i love it.

  • Barely any racism in Canada just good ol' canadian jokes

  • It probably won't survive in the States. Without the slapstick comedy, it won't be funny to the masses. I think it is one hell of a funny show though.

  • I am from the US and I think its freaking hilarious!

  • its actually doing quit well in the states.

  • Is it? I don't mind being wrong, was just my opinion. I would actually love to see it do well, I just don't think it will, they're only doing one more season anyway though.

  • Which saddens me deeply! I just got into the show some months ago, and I'm in love with it! It's one of my favorites, so I'm sad that they're only having one more season.

Since nothing really happens to deepen any sort of 'series plot', I think they could just keep doing more episodes without it losing its humor. That is, if they can keep coming up with different ideas, which does get hard into a series.

  • Ahha I love this show

  • There are people like this everywhere, it's sad that this show is ending, its acctually funny and easy to relate to. Even if you've never been to the Saske-chewan you've probably been to a town so small that you could throw a rock from one end to the other, and the people you find are an interesting mix of local skills and ignorance.

Still the last 10 years have been great for canadian comedy, between this Mike Bullard drowning another show and TPB.

  • i love that this is a big show i'm from regina (in saskatchewan) practically every family memeber has met these people and been on this show as extras and stuff, it's hallarious because every episode i watch i know someone in it i love that this show is actually popular it's so rediculasly funny, and sask is actaully so flat, that is what it looks like.

  • Ha, I'm going to Regina this weekend. Might drive by here. xD

  • Pff Regina.....what a joke........Saskatoon pwns Regina any day.

  • i used to live in saskatoon and ive been to regina. id rather live in saskatoon for many reasons but still saskatoon has many differnt flaws ex. traffic im in alberta now so meh still love corner gas

  • hahaha your a joke.

  • People in Western Kansas are kind of the same, so I find Corner Gas very funny!

  • Ahh.. priceless.

  • Yeh Canada is a great country long live Canada:)!! cause im canadian to:P

  • for one we don't invade countries for oil, oh and the best thing there is about Canada. When we travel abroad we don't have to fake an accent so we don't get lynched.

  • Why are we in Afghanistan?

If the Conservatives had been in power, we WOULD have gone to Iraq.

Our hands aren't as clean as we think.

  • afganistan. iraq... they're both bad places to go, in my opinion but thats just me

  • It's the opening of the first episode of the first season.

  • I was refereeing to people turning a scene about Corner Gas into a political conversation.

  • I love Corner Gas! I drove my family nuts watching all of the episodes in the first three seasons during a road trip from Alberta to Ontario! What I don't like is that all the TV stations where I live just seem to keep playing the same 10 or so episodes over and over in a loop and they never show the new ones. I should write a letter >.>

  • The best thing about the show is that it actually acknowledges that it is Canadian. No pretending to be set in the US.

Nice to teach Americans and others that we're not all living in igloos on the tundra.

  • im canadian too but i know that pretty much all americans(maybe a few exceptions)know that we dont live in igloos.

  • If it wasn't labeled, most Americans couldn't find Canada on the globe.

  • why doesn't that surprise us.

  • Don't worry, both Obama and Hillary promise to improve America's education.

  • Yeah, but thats all lies. Americans will always be dumb as nails.

  • this is completly irrelevant but none of my comments ever had 3 replys :D

  • When my dad was in a truckstop down in Maine, he told somebody he was from Canada. The guys asked him if that was that state up by Washington XD

  • Then that guy wasn't a true Mainer.

  • im from manitoba, the flattest part in it(southwest) and then other then that and the south eastern part of saskatchewan it doesn't really seem that flat to me. it is still fun making funny stereo types about them gappers though :)lol

  • True. Mainers, NBers, and Nova Scotians (like me) are quite close culturally and know a lot about each other.

  • It's funny how the Americans keep ripping off our shows, like that "Welcome to the Castle" or whatever is a bigger version of "Robson Arms".

There are others I won't get into, especially cartoons.

  • rotfl when they try to get free funeral food! XD

canadians reading this any of you guys seen robson arms?

  • Robson Arms is okay, but I only ever see the same three episodes.

Oddly enough, my Grandma has a photo of the Robson Arms (I think it's called that...?) in Vancouver, and they're way different than the show...

  • Great show

Glad I live in canada its one 10 time a daya here if you have digital cable!

  • WE are addicted to Corner Gas! The writing is brilliant; focusing on the idiosyncracies of its inhabitants is believable and just plain fun. All the characters are funny! Can't wait for more to come in the US!!!

  • I always wondered if you Americans would get some of the jokes.

The best part about Corner Gas is that none of the characters are fictional. They are based on real people that every small town has.

  • I just started watching Corner Gas this season. It is absolutely brilliant! Definitely one of the best shows on television.

  • Everything stops when this show is on I love it its the best show running and they dont have to use smut and drugs go figure!!

  • Ya we r amazing and yes we are that sarcastic

  • This Is The Best Show Ever.. Go Saskatchewan

  • i hated this show then i watched one episode and i was hooked it is funny

  • After about five episodes, I bought seasons 1-4 on DVD. Funniest show in YEARS!

  • This is better then BOB & DOUG....EH !

  • I love this show.Best thing to happen to T.V.

    In 20 years.

  • Just happened on this last night at 10:30. I

laughed my head off. Everybody I wanted to call up to watch it had already gone to bed but you can bet your sweet a-- they will be watching it. And I'm not going to miss an episode. Can't believe it has been on since September.

  • was there just last week...drove RIGHT past "dog river" itself....sure is flat, SO right!

  • This video is so true=]

  • Reply to this message if you like Corner Gas

  • BEST SHOW EVER!!!

  • CORNER GAS ROX!

  • I'm so glad WGN Superstation has picked up Corner Gas. I always watch it when I visit Toronto.

  • Cant you watch it in Comedy Network and CTV in Toronto?

  • Yes, as I said I watch Corner Gas when I visit Toronto. I live in the States, CTV and the Comedy Network are not available there so I am able to catch it on WGN.

  • Oh! Well, come live here in my home country, CANADA

  • Canada is the best place to be

  • Corner Gas is the best show ever

Corner Gas on CTV, Comedy Network, and now WGN Superstation

  • It's not nearly as flat as the Blue Bombers will be after the Roughies steamroll them today!

  • LOLOLOLOLL! Dats right!

  • This is my favourite show!

  • saskatchewan kicks ass and we are going to win the grey cup hahaha beat you all. kerry joesph is an idiot

  • I LOVE THIS SHOW!

  • Great show. warpig68-enjoying your Albertan oil?

  • who ever dosnt like corner gas is either gay, retarded, or american

  • Seirously, all the people that hate this show, why the hell did you search it up in the first place? If you don't like it, dont search it and screw off with the bad comments, okay? Maybe I'm just talking to some angry 6 year olds..

  • I love this show so much.

  • U just don't like Corner Gas cuz it's Canadian and u wish it was from your country. Anyway, if u dont like it DONT SEARCH IT!

  • I see someone needs their Ritalin.

  • lol

  • This is such a great show. Everyone I know loves it!

  • looks like no-one agrees with u. love this showm especailly since i live in Saskatchewan. GO RIDERS!!!

  • nice. But not the best.

  • corner gas rocks

  • As an Irish man living in B.C. I would like to say that if you give Corner Gas a chance then it gets better and better. It is not a show that you can get in to after just one episode, but give it time and you'll begin to see what a comedy genius Brent Butt is.

  • have to disagree, sort of. I'm American and I was hooked after one episode. Brent is a commedy writing genius and the show does get better and better.

  • i love this show i watch it everynight its hillarious canada has way better shows than the U.S.

  • lol ah no way we have terrible shows in canada, this is about it for good canadian tv, other than kids in the hall but thats long gone.

  • its true..

  • what about bob and doug mackenzie? =D (i prob spelt mackenzie worng)

  • well... i have no educated retaliation to defend my country, so i'll go with FUCK YOU, EH.

  • haha are u seriouse retard? ur saying family guy is witty, all they do is make fucking horrible puns

  • Do you know what a pun is?

  • Yes

  • family guy fuckin blooows now. there is no way that this is worse than family guy.

  • hehehe

  • canada and corner gas rules !

  • How flat is Saskatchewan? lol Its soooooo flat ... that I can sit in Saskatoon and watch each episode as they film it in Dog River. lol its a fun show! xo-ario

  • Hey, pig, Canada-haters like you are meaningless whiners, but here's a reality check, anyway: CBC is MEANT to be public broadcasting, as a counterweigth to corporate media and its historical susceptibility to the militarty-industrial complex. Ironically, it's fascist-asslickers like you that crow blindly about "democracy and freedom" without having a CLUE about the checks and balances that allow them. Fool.

  • Warpigs really is a dumbass. He must have grown up watching those educational shows like Laverne and Shirley. Tell me those actors were any better than what we have in Canada! lol

  • Corner Gas is produced by CTV, not CBC. 99.9 percent of actors don't make it, no matter where they're from and where they go. antiCanadian filth like you wouldn't consider it, with your blind hatred. Oh, and the ENTIRE entertainment industry is on "welfare". When you buy a product you are paying its advertisin overhead even though you don't watch most of the material if advertisers on.....Nutjob Canada-hater..Dismissed.
