  • The Urinals Are 1940's Standard Expello Urinals And The Toilet Is A 1940's Standard Madera Toilet.

  • The original Sloan Royal flushometers all these toilets and urinals originally had, with their bell-shaped chrome caps and bullet handles, went AWOL sometime in the late 1990s or early 2000s.

  • There are some massive old urinals at the Oaks Park skating rink in Portland, OR.

They are almost the size of refrigerators and just about wrap around you when you step in to go. You couldn't miss unless you really tried.

It makes one almost feel proud to use them LOL

  • @NardDogz As well as the Urinal at McMenamin's in Gresham, OR. That one is a monster!

  • Oh yeah, McMenamin's always has really over the top restrooms... Really old fixtures with crazy exposed piping... pressure gages, lights , bells that go nuts when you flush, ha ha...

  • egh the urinals look cool but I HATE using them. I feel like everyone can see me. 0_o

Type this into youtube: "A Men's Room Monologue"

    Its epic.

  • I feel the sameway too especially if there's no wall around them.

  • Vintage toilets are so cool! When organist1982 and I went to the Paramount theatre of Abilene it had all the original fixtures in it from the 1930's...also the West bldg. has the original 1952 toilets where the flush valve connects to the back of the bowl through an elbow.

  • Omg, I rarely see vintage toilets in public restrooms these days. I wished ppl stop updating stuff and just restore it.

  • I do agree that things need to be restored. one benefit is its green!

I was watching one of those kitchen remodel shows on HGTV a few weeks ago. A couple had a 1950"s ish stainless countertop that had a built in sink on one end, Dishwasher in the center and burners built directly into the countertop with oven below them. Berner controls were located on the backsplash above the frontloading dishwasher.

  • "windchester cathedral, you're bringing me dow-hown" hehe I love that song

Kinda reminds me of the bathroom at my high school; except ours was really crappy looking lol; mismatched broken asbestos floor tiles, and the walls were all gross looking lol, but we had the urinals that go all the way to the floor.

Hey have you seen those urinals that are like a big long trough?

  • I don't think I've ever seen urinals like that before...

But my old job did have those urinals that did go all the way to the floor like you mentioned.

  • whoa, makes me want to go take a piss now lol, where is that place?

  • The one building of my university.

  • Where is this bathroom? Those urinals look pretty old. They almost look like bidets.

  • This is in the one building of my university.

Those toilets are very old, and the urinals hold a lot of water in them. But they are spotless and like brand new!

  • Nice one, this reminds me of the video I posted of the stinky public bathroom in churchill park. and in my video theres a vintage Nutone exhaust fan, I think its vintage im not really sure, dburrigh you should check out my video of the public bathroom ill put it as a response to this vid.

  • "Winchester Cathedral" was #1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart for two weeks in December 1966.

  • These urinals and toilets all appear to date from the FDR era because not only do they have the old "Standard" trademark imprinted on the china, the model names of these units are printed below the maker's name.

  • Wow, now those are old. The building I was in is probably around 100 years old +/- 30 years.

  • we had pissers like that when i was in elementary school.

winchester catherdal is a cool song.

  • Where did you find those?

  • They were in the one building of my university.

  • Oh wow!

And may I ask what university that was?

  • Cool old pissers. I remember the floor mounted ones they had at where I went to college, they took those out in favor of those water saver models. Those old toilet were cool as well, an elepahnt could crap in those things and they'd flush it.

What makes a bathroom to me though is if it has a vintage exhaust fan (NuTone, AirKing, Pryne or Trade Wind) roaring away.

  • those are awesome toilets! i was pleased to find 3.5 gallon vintage flush toilets in my house when i bought it. some muriatic acid brought them up to speed. : )

  • lmao @ the elephant comment.

Yeah, I know what you mean. My bathroom at home has a 1969 NuTone fan in it.

  • Your videos have gone into the toilet! :-)

  • That they have :p

  • Great video, especially since you included one of the urinals and nice song to accompany everything, "Winchester Cathedral!"
