My friend: LOLOLOL it's playing from your xbox 360

    me: damn I failed

PS: my computer is crap windows 7 home premium samsung DON'T BUY IT!

  • thumbs up if you immediately muted this,

  • @ube2ube4me fail.

  • so there is no way to use your laptopscreen as a TV without adding additional hardware? that sucks..

  • whooooooo

    awesome song man !!! :D

    feel like dancing right now

  • i couldnt pay attention, the musics distracting me :D

  • you dont need to do that you only need a hdmi chord

  • Composite sucks why not use the scart?

  • i will not take your advise as you are listening to scissor sisters. thank you.

  • how do i know what tv tuner i have, my computer came with this tuner and i had this PC for couple of years....

  • rather than do whats in this video, if your monitor has a HDMI input, then go from 360 to the monitor via HDMI and there you go

  • Why would I want to play GTA 4 console version on PC when I can play the superior PC version ?

  • Thanks for the song, cheered me up :D

  • can i just play my xbox games from the cd ? i already got 2 xbox controller plugs modded in to my computer so i can already use the xbox controller just need to know if i can run my games off my computer plz let me know !!!!!!!

  • @h3xm0dz No you cannot play console discs on your computer without extreme hacking and modding. If you could why would the company still sell consoles?

  • @orionsbelt0 used to be a program for playstation games an u could play the games from the disc drive in ur pc, cant remember the program but it only supported a small number of psx games, but it was possible an didnt require no more than install the program an then puttin ur disc in ur drive, of course there was the controller setup which was a pain for me to get to work on the analog games, but im sure today it would be alot easier with the support out for the 360 controllers.

  • use a camcorder :D

  • OR you could just buy a capture card...it does the same thing minus all the work.

  • Consoles suck

  • @polishfreak36 <troll

  • @tallyhoman911 Not really, I speak the truth

  • next time when u make a video use a better song but this one is very catchy

  • Its for Xbox 360 too?

  • its not scissor sisters, its "bröderna rongedal" from sweden. English translate: rongedal brothers

  • wastes electricity running pc and console at same time.......good for recording in-game footage. can also record movies viewed on your console.....youtube, music videos, porn

  • wtf.okeey..

  • your bluesoleil work?

  • ur dumb

  • lol, why not just buy a tv and save some time?

  • @ScalversGadgets this i s so much cheaper

it's an alternative some people maty found this handier instead even though it's more complicated

  • @ScalversGadgets Why not just use a pc and save some money.

  • or you could plug it into the back of the computer screen lol

  • that sucks

  • Dude i Have a problem . When I enter the Page of The DNAS it is saying DNAS Error what shall i do plss help me

  • good hack bro

  • let me tell u

    get a tv!!!!!!

  • YOur Svideo to RCA the RCA is female or male? Image burr,

  • What's with the 80's disco man.

  • i feel like dancing, dancing............

  • wow nice but wont the program in the pc cause a time-lag ?

  • Nice 90's sitcom

No jk, only the beginning sounds like it lol.

    :D

  • PRO

  • you make this too complicating.

  • just buy a fucking tv for fuck sake jesus christ i feel like shanking u over and over and over

  • i dont see the need for the scart switch box, your console outputs are yellow red and white anyway you could buy a $5 rca switch box instead

  • thanks!

  • Your just using the monitor for a screen thats retarded

  • I am forced to agree...

  • the novelty is playing it on the pc, if you have cables long enough to stretch between different rooms, and if not, you can play tricks on your friends by hiding the xbox and showing the PC "playing" the games

  • I agreed too.

  • they just need to make a usb connector and software for digital input for the xbox 360 so you can play it on the go or something from your laptop

  • where u gona connect the xbox into?

  • you mean like the power source or audio cables well power source can com from a wall or car when traveling and make a cable for the xbox to hook to the laptop or pc ..... just only you know

  • i think there is an easier way of connecting the cosole to the computer moniter using cirtain adapter i but im not sure without using the computer

  • wow all thiss is so not neccesary if u already have a console.

  • Comment removed

  • ??

I correct me if i am wrong

You played the game (PS3/WII) on the computer screen. ( monitor )

And you made the computer intermediary for the transfer of the broadcast. (only)

You did not put the game CD into the computer and played. True?

    that what you did:

CD into the console -> console to computer -> comuter to monitor. ( OR to TV ) ha ha ha ha ha

    funny and good work

  • or u could just use an emulator

  • most stupid video ever!!!! why should anyone do such a stupid thing? i haven't seen a more stupid guide!

  • Who needs to put it into the PC. Just put it into the monitor with a HDMI to VGA cable...

  • nobody plays pc when he has a gameconsole because the pc

is shit to play and for the ps3

is a hd tv better nobody want to

play his ps3 on a stupid pc

  • PC's are by far the best "console" to play games on. But that depends on your PC specs. Take mine as an example, I have yet to find a PC game I can't run on the highest graphic setting.

  • have you not thought that a console is cheaper than a super computer and the fact that your playing on a TV and Consoles can play every single game there is with no problems in its best quality which match's the graphics quality of a super computer?

  • I have considered it, but my PC is basically way better than any console today is. A PC's hardware can be upgraded, a console's can not. However, a console is better for people unable to afford a gaming rig.

  • yep..i can immiedetly tell u have no life.

  • x) Of course. I don't think my friends would agree, but I certainly can! :P

  • lol u can be very sarcastic.

  • You have no idea, lol.

  • lol =P

  • you can either go out and buy all the crap to play games on your console cept on your moniter screen, or you can buy a tv that your computer can plug into..or just play on the console...

  • Video Capture card more?

  • What the Fuck is a scart?

  • Dude this is just a con all you really have to do is plug it into ur t.v you make it so complicated!!!!

  • plug in to tv is a bit cheaper an less messin about!!!!

  • Man whats this song I know its Australian because when i was Melbourne this song was everyday everywhere even in the show IM GOING CRAZY!!!!!!!

    AAAAHAAAAAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • its 'don't feel like dancing' by scissor sisters... and i think its British.. not Australian..? ;l not sure there though...

  • Scissor sisters are from New York, NY, USA.

    :)

  • I knew that.. :P

  • Windows Media Center wont go to S-Video, WinTV wont work at all on my Vista, and Pinnacle says it is incompatible with my OS (Windows Vista)

Is there any kind of TV Software i can get so i can view this? Ive got all the cables and i can even hear the PS2 on my speakers, i just need software to view S-Video

  • tis isnt "

Get Your Games Console On Your PC"

this is how get your video signal on a PC

  • or just get a tv....

HD 22" LG monitor/tv for £180 - works fine for me!

  • Just Get a Capture Card and plug the Console in the Red, Yellow and White Ports. its Simple

  • I have an Audio Card with Red, Yellow and White ports and the console is plugged in, but how do i watch it now?

  • its an Audio Card so i think you can't watch it

  • But its got a Yellow (Video) plug in it, so surely i can view it somehow?

  • ok, i dont no how then

  • ok, see technically you aren't playing this on your computer... You are just routing the consoles information through your computer so you can see it on your monitor

  • Im rom USA but im no computer geek soo i dont kno how all this stuff costs

  • me neither, but it wont be so expensive, just hard to find :S that box is almost one of a kind (my opinion). its a great video, even my grandma could do it with this tutorial.. but it's, for me, and for the most i think, just waste of time and money. plug it in on ur tv instead =)

  • i wish everybody who posted on here had your logic lol, +1.

For most people it probably isnt worth it, but theres that minority who are like me, recently put pc-panels in my kitchen, bedroom and bathroom made of Tablet PC's that my work was throwing away :P can control any electronic thing in the house :P

i like pc's :) plus i can broadcast my Wii to any of these consoles and any TV in the house as it is upstairs, and i have a wireless Sensor bar, i can use the wii from any room :)

  • Hey Darksibling, why is your PSP PPJOY Wifi Controller Setup Guide vid gone? :(

  • how much money we talkin here? lol

  • what country you from? ill give it in GBP + USD

aroudn about $30 US, or £20 UK

  • what if your pc moniter is better than your tv it's cheaper to get a 24" hd pc moniter than a 24" hd lcd tv

  • so does doing this run a PS3 game on the pc hardware and improve performance on a powerful computer? or is it just a big way of getting a console to show up on a screen with a high res without an HDTV?

  • you cant run a PS3 game on pc hardware, imagine that your PC becomes the TV, thats basically all that is happening.

The setup in the video is a "SD" 320x280 Setup, for a HD setup, you can buy a HDTV Tuner (upto 1080p). But bear in mind you need a 1080p Monitor to show 1080p HD in full glory.

  • owell i figured that, maybe one day sony/microsoft/nintendo will sell emulators for their consoles to download on a pc, considering some people have pc's that are more powerful than consoles, that would be nice, more desk space lol

  • that would be pretty sweet. Something that would be really good would be like Cross Platform?

IE you can put the Disk into your pc and play as if it was a Console, The Disk Holds the Savedata, and then you can pop it in a console. That way PC users win, and gamers who want a console to carry around or w/e win :)

  • haha yea, sept now lookin way into the future, games would be help on little mircro cars instead of discs lol

  • its like the absence of the investment in a TV is compensated with all the other equipment you need

  • nice vid

  • Does it have to be a PCI TV card? eg can I use a USB TV tuner, as long as it has a SVIDEO in socket?

  • USB Tuner is fine, anything with SVIDEO-IN is perfect :)

  • have you a acer???

    its look like

  • Sorry for being....incompetent I guess, but do you have a better or more technical term than scart?

  • SCART is a technical term -_-

  • how does ppl rewrite they're ps2 games to play it on the xbox360?

  • you cant i dont think?

    they're different platforms

  • This great. Thanks man. works like a charm.

  • thank you by the way how much the equipment

  • just under £20 (which i think is around $30)

  • get a life and a tv and if you want to play games of ps2 on your computer just get an emulator

  • Can nobody on this planet reply without an insult? ie: "Get a life"?

If you think its a bad idea why waste 4:48 of your life watching the video?

My setup is three monitors on the desk :| where am i going to fit a television in?

-Ooooh- i know ill build it INTO my PC.

    Makes Sense huh?

Computers are the future, mark my words it wont take many years before they do EVERYTHING.

Which is a scary prospect i suppose. But hey :) I'll still make my living whether you buy a TV or not.

  • Comment removed

  • look man instead of buying all that and going through that process just get a tv ok but anyway good video and i get what you meen about that the computers are the future

  • do I have to get the tv input card if my gpu has an s-video on it. sorry I just don't like the fact that I have to go out and buy 4 things to use my monitor as a tv for my xbox. Do some scarts come with rca audio to jack lead and an rca video to s video adapter. If so I am totally wanting one of these for Christmas.

  • very good video, very informative and useful, however some people are stupid in this vast area they call earth, i completely understood it, i dont use this setup but i do use my monitor as a gaming tv. mine has a simple hdmi input and audio connectors from my console to a seperate audio system. i expect the quality to be standard definition with that setup as you are using scarts. if anyone wants a high definition setup, you will need to buy a tv card with either hdmi or composite connectors.

  • Thank You :) and yeah SD not HD, but you can use a Upscaler ;) (VLC for example) if you have a powerful enough pc, thanks again +1

  • go to 2.25... where did you buy that, red yellow, blue, green p.c.i card?? thanks

  • its a connector you get with the motherboard i bought,

    Asus m2npv-vm mATX

its not a pci card, it goes to an internal connector.

    hope this helps?

  • ok i got that... but its possible make the opposite .. play pc games on Xbox? for example..

  • most consoles have a vga cable that can be purchased , would be a lot easier LOL!!!!

  • Yup probably - however my wii is inside my pc ;)

anyway... thats a convo for another day

  • Its just like a substitute if you dont have a TV on your HOMES!! duh... you still play on the console, you connect the controllers on the console and everything.. the only thing is that you are using your computer monitor as your TV screen for your console

  • Yes Exactly :)

    +1

  • complicated!

  • firstly, cant you reply without swearing?

and secondly, its not compatible with ever tuner. most come with their own software.

  • No fuck you LifeView FTW :D More Easy

  • no idea on this lol, try google

  • my PC, has those Video, Audio, jack ins. Its the Red, white, and yellow. Can I just plug my Wii in and start up the software?

  • if i were to hazard a guess

i would guess that is a TV-A/V-Out slot, for plugging your pc in a television.

i doubt it would go the other way round.

However, if there is TV tuning software on your pc, then its possible it is a TV-in card. But most of these have the round one too (which is called RF)

    Try it and reply :)

    Tony.

  • K, So...... What it the Tv Tuning software?

  • mine is Pinnacle Media Center, came with my TV card, you should have one on your pc already if it is a tuner, otherwise it is just a TV-out Interface.

  • I have Windows Media Center =O.

  • omg same

  • hey man my PC is from Hp with a tv card with svideo and different spot 4 2rcainputs it only works on Windows Media Centre Do you know where i could get the software cuz WMC laggs like a bitch

  • How do you even start a game on Windows Media center

  • hey dude i just figured it out yes you can just say i want to watch tv so its gonna ask you to set it up itsll ask if you want to play tv from analog or rca put rca foolow the rest of the instructions and i guess you play ur wii goood luck and try it out

  • How do you access Composite?

  • i think its only rca unless your tv tuner card has composite so ig ueyss not

  • I have Composite, but I dont know how to open it up. Ive PLayed Melee on it, but it lagged.

  • all i do is take a cable (from ps2 or wat ever) splice it and also splice a svideo cable and connect the wires... and for sound i just take a 3.5mm audio wires (make sure its the thick wire type not like most headphone wires that r real thin) and splice it and connect the left and right.. ill have to make a vid of it most likely... hard to explain but u dont have to but that scart box and WHOLE lot of cables

  • the idea is to have a media center pc which can run anything that goes into it from TV to SCART, thats the main reason i have this setup.

Your way is great to, shud save people some money, you should make a how-to video and post it as a reply to this one.

    Tony.

  • lol if i had a camera i would also i dont have a tv input card but what i said should work since i reverse it to play pc games on the tv lol

  • Wow, I never would have guessed. Red connector into red connection. It's so obvious now

  • its more about the cables and hardware you need than actually plugging red to red :|

that was just there because some people actually wouldnt have a clue lol

  • y go threw all this trouble just plug it in ur tv?

  • 42" tv price - £2,000 ($4k)

    42" pc mon price - £400 ($800)

    lol - yes im a cheapskate ;)

  • so this is how ppl make machinimas for halo :/

  • no they use capture cards

  • these are video capture cards

  • infact i have the same multi scart box as u but its black without labels , i have too many electrical stuff :( all these inmputs and outputs and recording inputs and outputs cvonfuse me

  • yer i wish they wud just pick one type of cable, the same signal travels down scart video + svideo, and the same down HDMI and DVI, and VGA and offshoots, so i wish they wud just make one cable for each. But hey, i guess they wanna make money by making u pay for loadsa cables :|

  • why s video ? is sucks , crappy american invention

  • s-video is the card i had on me when i made this guide, you can use what you wish, but you will have to buy the correct equipment.

btw, S-Video uses the same signal as the RCA-video (AV) cable. So even if u use RCA you are gna get the same quality.

and svideo can support 1080p so it seemed a logical choice for a guide about HD consoles :)

any more input is welcome, thanks :)

  • svideo is smaller than scart (euro) , but my projector for example only allows dsub , composite video and svideo , as the svideo long cables r cheaper for quality i use that also

  • yer i wanted to do something like this purely for demos but i heard you gonna get lag running through that setup.. how much all that xtra shit cost and does it lag?

  • i dont get any lag - unless your on a pc that was built when the dinosaurs were around you will get Zero Lag.

    TV Card was £20 ($40US)

    Cables n stuff £10 ($20US)

cheaper than a tv which would have bin a lot more than tht ^^

  • just use a tv its alot easier!

  • hehe if its easier for u then go for it :)

but its a lot easier for me, ud understand if you saw my house.. i spent that much equip on pc's i dont have the 400quid ($800us) for a TV, so i just use my HD monitor ;)

  • cool

  • lmao i alreddy have the the umm... black plug thing built into my pc :0 maybe cos i got xp media centre :)

  • picaticatara please keep your responses productive, ive left your post on so everybody can see wat a time-waster you are. Thank you for your reply. Have a nice day

  • makes sense for me cus i dont have a tv :)

  • haha!!! I've been wanting to do this for a while, I dunno if I ever will, but it makes sense! thanks bud
